PHOTO FLASH: In Rehearsals for ELLA ES COLOMBIA

Ella es Colombia, a fantasy filled fable that is inspired by the soul of the Colombian people, music, literature and folklore will premiere on August 22, 2018 at the Cafam De Bellas Artes Theater. Under the Direction and Choreography of Broadway's Luis Salgado. This new musical is produced by Maria Isabel Murillo (aka Misi), who also serves as one of the composers.

Luis Salgado Continues To Expand His Creative Presence In Latin America

Puerto Rican artist and Broadway performer Luis Salgado (ROCKY, Women on the Verge...) returns to Latin America after making his European directing debut with ON YOUR FEET as the associate director to Jerry Mitchell. Salgado's production of In The Heights at GALA Theatre in Washington D.C recently took home 9 Helen Hayes awards IncludIng Outstanding Direction and Choreography. He now embarks to South America to direct/choreograph a very special production, ELLA ES COLOMBIA; A fable filled with fantasy that is inspired by the essence of the Colombian people, music, artists and folklore.

PROMISES, PROMISES's Matthew Steffens Will Star in R.Evolución Latina's BOUNTIFUL: A TEACHER'S JOURNEY

Matthew Steffens is one of the nine uniquely brilliant choreographers of BOUNTIFUL: A Teacher's Journey, R.Evolucion Latina's 2016 Choreographers Festival. He has served as the associate choreographer for the Broadway production of Doctor Zhivago and of the Off-Broadway immersive hit Queen of the Night. Matthew has performed on Broadway in Promises, Promises and Women on the Verge of A Nervous Breakdown and now he is starring in R.Evolucion Latina's (RL) new production.

CSULB Theatre Arts Department and California Repertory Company are thrilled to present Caryl Churchill's play FAR AWAY in the newly upgraded University Theatre. The process of returning to the University Theatre began over two years ago and required the concerted efforts of numerous individuals across campus.
