Kelsey Lu will make a special appearance in two songs at the West Coast premiere of Oneohtrix Point Never's MYRIAD performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Monday, October 22, 2018. Examining disorienting forms at the intersection of theater, installation art, and musical performance, and imagined from the perspective of an alien intelligence, MYRIAD explores film and television tropes, abstract sculpture, game ephemera, poetry, apocryphal histories, internet esoterica, and philosophies of being. It looks toward the possibilities of the future while considering the conflict between today's civilization and the environment.

Mercury Chamber Orchestra opens its 2018-19 Neighborhood Series this October 20 - 25 with Johann Sebastian Bach's spirited Brandenburg Concerto No. 5. Featuring not one, but three instruments - the flute, violin and harpsichord, it is the only one of the six Brandenburg Concerti in which the harpsichord has a solo part. Written for a smaller ensemble, but with symphonic proportions, this sublime work features musicians playing both leading and supporting roles in an ever-changing pattern of give and take.
Force of Nature Productions presents the world premiere of Kerry Kazmierowicztrimm's GRAY PEOPLE. Directed by Sebastian Munoz, the play will open on November 2, 2018 and run until November 17, 2018 in its world premiere.

Oneohtrix Point Never premiered MYRIAD as part of Red Bull Music Festival New York, with three sold out shows over the course of two nights. The concertscape featured his first full live touring ensemble--featuring Kelly Moran (keys, voice), Aaron David Ross (keys, vocal synth, foley triggers) and Eli Keszler (drumset, sensory triggers, aux percussion)--together with special guests including Kelsey Lu (cello) and Prurient (vocals), and visual collaborators. Using the scale of the Park Avenue Armory's Wade Thompson Drill Hall to explore disorienting forms at the intersection of theater, installation art and musical performance, the world premiere of MYRIAD was presented as a four-part epochal song cycle.
