It may not be Halloween but we got the one and only Eve Harrington, Penny Fuller, with us in today's episode! Penny has been an Emmy Award-winning familiar face on TV with such credits as The Bob Newhart Show, The Love Boat, One Day At A Time, Matlock, and Judging Amy but the theatre is her home with appearances in the original Barefoot in the Park, Cabaret, Applause, Rex, The Dinner Party, and the most recent revival of Sunday in the Park with George. 

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces a one-on-one networking event with commercial and indie producers, Writer-Producer Speed Date onJuly 15, 2018 with coaching sessions at 4:30pm and 5:30pm at Studios 353,353 W 48th St, NYC.

Grosse Pointe Theatre will close its 70th season with the Tony Award-winning musical 42nd Street with eight performances June 17 - 30. All performances will be held at the Christian A. Fenton Performing Arts Center at Grosse Pointe North High School.

The full cast and creative team have been assembled for Ozark Actors Theatre's upcoming production of the Broadway classic Hello, Dolly!

This episode features: Tamara Tunie who starred for 15 seasons as Medical Examiner Dr. Melinda Warner in the top-rated series 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.' Tunie, also, starred as Marie Van Der Veen, the matriarch and the "moral fiber" of a Native American tribe, on Sundance TV's THE RED ROAD. COMING SOON, Tunie stars in AMC's new series DIETLAND and the BBC/Netflix political drama "The Forgiving Earth".   She also appeared in the highly visible role of Alberta Green in season one of the hit series '24', as well as guest appearances on "Better Call Saul", "Blue Bloods", "Billions", "Alpha House", "Elementary" "Survivor's Remorse", "Zoo", "The Good Wife", 'Law and Order,' 'Sex and the City,' and 'NYPD Blue",  to name a handful.

The York Theatre Company will honor Five-time Tony Award-winning musical theatre director/choreographer Susan Stroman (Crazy for You) with the 2018 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre at the 27th Oscar Hammerstein Award Gala to be held on Monday evening, November 12, 2018.

Having seen 42nd Street when it first opened on Broadway, and seeing this version all these years later, was refreshing and really made me happy that tap is still one of the most enjoyable forms of entertainment to watch or do.

Jones Street Productions presents the New York premiere of Moolah, a new comedy by Arje Shaw (The Gathering, Magic Hands Freddie). As magical as the evening was, after Freddie Gershon gave an impassioned presentation to the duo, Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones hit the stage and brought the house down at ages 88 and 89 respectively. They joined forces onstage to perform a song from their musical The Bone Room, described by Jones as being about 'the pleasures of dying and being embalmed in this great country of ours.' Below, watch as they perform together for the last time. BWW feels privileged to share with you a bit of highlights of these two legends together before a rapt and ecstatic audience who precded to shower them with a (well deserved) standing ovation... RIP Harvey Schmidt.

Directed by Stuart Ross, and with music direction by David Hancock Turner, the cast features Karl Josef Co, David Engel, Beth Glover, David Josefsberg, Alyse Alan Louis, Kathryn McCreary, Gerry McIntyre, Gina Milo, Eric William Morris, and Kilty Reidy.
