The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra's pioneering Liquid Music Series announces today the full schedule of events for its 2017.18 season.

Tonight, Barbra Streisand plays an intimate club in LA...in the guise of world renowned impressionist Steven Brinberg as SIMPLY BARBRA at Rockwell Table and Stage, 1714 N. Vermont Avenue, LA 90027, in the heart of Los Feliz Village. 

The Board of the Young Vic has announced today that the artistic director David Lan will step down after leading the company for almost two decades.

Tin Pan Alley on 28th street in Manhattan was where many songs were composed in the early 20th century.  Young composers like George Gershwin wrote many of the tunes we are still singing today.  Now, a lot of the creative music and lyrics are coming out of William Finn's Master Class at The NYU Tisch Graduate Program in Musical Theatre Writing.  Instead of these young songwriters displaying there work on the cheap upright pianos that gave Tin Pan Alley it's name, Mr. Finn who is also the Artistic Head of the Musical Theatre Lab at Barrington Stage Company  puts on a show on Barrington's Main Stage in PIttsfield Massachusetts.

Final casting has been confirmed for The Acting Company's benefit reading of British drama The Chalk Garden by Enid Bagnold, starring Angela Lansbury. The one-night-only event will take place on Monday, June 19 at 7 PM, at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, 68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues, presented by The Acting Company in association with Andrew Bryan and Opus Blue Productions.

Following weeks of high demand, Signature Theatre is happy to announce that Jesus Christ Superstar will play for an added ninth week - an addition of seven performances between July 5 and July 9.

Lisa Palfry (Big Mama), Hayley Squires (Mae) and Brian Gleeson (Gooper) with Richard Hansel (Doctor) and Michael J Shannon (Reverend) join the previously announced Sienna Miller (Maggie), Jack O'Connell (Brick) and Colm Meaney (Big Daddy) for the Young Vic production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Seiriol Davies' sell-out show from Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2016 was a huge hit with audiences and critics alike; now the musical extravaganza will be returning to the Fringe and touring the UK.

Virginia's Signature Theatre opens its air-conditioned doors once again for the annual Sizzlin' Summer Nights Series. Two and a half weeks of live music and performances by Signature favorites and DC area stars. The cabaret series runs July 5 through July 22, with a different performance every night.

Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer-prize winning Broadway musical, RENT, details one year in the life of seven modern day artists & musicians, living in New York's run down 'Alphabet City' in the late 1980s.

Bang on a Can celebrates summer 2017, and continues its 30th anniversary landmark season, by showcasing the breadth of its adventurous curatorial vision with concerts June-September at three visual art institutions -The Noguchi Museum and the Jewish Museum in New York City, and the Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival at MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA - plus a performance by the Bang on a Can All-Stars at the Lincoln Center Festival.

Kyle Riabko - star and creator of the hit West End show Close to You: Bacharach Reimagined and the earlier acclaimed Off-Broadway version What's it All About? Bacharach Reimagined - will return to Joe's Pub at The Public for two solo concerts by popular demand on Friday, September 29 at 9:30 PM and Saturday, September 30 at 7:00 PM. 

Joseph V. Melillo, executive producer of the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), today announced programming for the 2017 Next Wave Festival.
