A bereaved woman trying to find out the truth about her fiancé's death gets sucked into a maelstrom of questions.

Vicky Hawkins has been announced as the new Executive Director of Park Theatre, taking the reins from Rachael Williams who was in the role for five years. A Haringey resident, Vicky joins Park Theatre from the National Theatre where she was Head of Producing. 

By popular demand an extra date has been added to the run of Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 2 at Park Theatre. A 3pm matinee on Tuesday 8th March was put on sale this morning and is the only date now available in the otherwise sold out run (except for £10 day seats released at 10am on show days).

Park Theatre  has announced Anthony Clare as the new Chair of the Board, taking over from Nigel Pantling who has been in the role for seven years. Anthony joins the board alongside existing board members Kurt Barling, Hedda Beeby, Andrew Cleland-Bogle, Jonathan Edwards, Bharat Mehta, Rufus Olins, Jo Parker, Victoria Phillips and Julia Tyrell.

Park Theatre has today announced the full line up of almost 40 celebrities who will take to the Park200 stage this February and March – completely unrehearsed – to play the Inspector in a farcical whodunnit.

The Mirvish theatre season is changing due to unforeseen developments in this pandemic. After consulting with our team of doctors, they are moving some of their shows from this winter into the spring, when the current situation is expected to be resolved and it will be safe again to enjoy live theatre performances.

Five Little Monkeys returns with a special Christmas-themed show for 2 – 6 year olds. Created by the team behind the hit family show Dogs Don't Do Ballet, this enlivening show introduces children to a thumping soundtrack of musical styles ranging from dub reggae to rap and classical ballet.

Olivier Award-winner John Dagleish stars as Bob Cratchit in an astute rewriting of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, having previously played the character in Jack Thorne's adaption of the show at the Old Vic in 2017. Alexander Knott's Cratchit reimagines the well-loved tale of Ebenezer Scrooge from the perspective of Bob Cratchit.

Inspired by the storytelling traditions of the West African griot, Sold tells the forgotten true story of Mary Prince, a woman born into the slavery in the British colony of Bermuda who went on to become an auto-biographer and champion of freedom.

Conceived by multi award- winning writer Archie Maddocks and directed by Talawa's Artistic Director, Michael Buffong, this bittersweet comedy-drama rejoices in the familiar comforts of London's diverse communities, whilst confronting how the rapid pace of change can erode deeply held traditions.

The Autumn – Spring season at Park Theatre includes the London premiere of new musical Little Women, a work in progress showing of Tony! [The Tony Blair Rock Opera] by Harry Hill and Steve Brown, and a host of Christmas delights for every age and taste.

The little-known condition Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) and attitudes to women's health issues in general are explored, questioned and raged against in a funny and heart-warming show about two sisters coming to terms with one's recent diagnosis.

Ten characters navigating their way through the trauma. Wanting justice to be done, the grief to end and to reach a place of acceptance. To feel in control again. This shattering new play puts the violence we do not speak about absolutely centre stage.

Each two-hour session can be attended in-person or online, and are for those that identify as working class, LGBTQI+, those who are deaf or disabled and those of a Culturally Diverse Heritage. 

Park Theatre has announced its reopening, starting today with a two-act drama commissioned by the venue that starts online & ends live in Park200, reopening the building on 4th August.  The season will include a Bruntwood Prize- and Alfred Fagon Award-shortlisted co-production with Talawa, the premiere of a ghost story based on true events & more.

Playing Sandwiches is certainly one of the darker stories within Alan Bennett's superb Talking Heads series. Written in 1998, this uncomfortable and disturbing piece originally featured David Haig. This update showcases a mesmerising performance by Lucian Msamati as park worker Wilfred Paterson; a seemingly ordinary man, with two very different sides to his character.
