Cave Theatre Co. to present Bertolt Brecht's THE RESISTIBLE RISE OF ARTURO UI at UNDER St. Marks

FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade will present Cave Theatre Co.'s production of Bertolt Brecht's The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui: A Gangster Spectacle at UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place between 1st Avenue and Avenue A) October 6-16 with performances Today through Saturday at8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets ($17) may be purchased in advance at www.horseTRADE.info. The performance runs approximately two hours, with a 15-minute intermission.

Wit, Margaret Edson's powerfully imagined Pulitzer Prize-winning play examines what makes life worth living through her exploration of one of existence's unifying experiences-mortality-while she also probes the vital importance of human relationships. Opening night at Playhouse on Park is April 22 at 8pm, with a wine and cheese reception to precede the show.

Playhouse on Park's first Mainstage Series show of 2016 is the award-winning production The Chosen, adapted by Chaim Potok and Aaron Posner. Opening night is January 29.

Tickets to Fracture Theatre Co.'s URINETOWN Now on Sale

Tickets are now available for Fracture Theatre Co.'s production of URINETOWN: THE MUSICAL. The show will be recreated in it's original Off-Broadway home, The American Theatre of Actors with a cast of 23. The show will run from October 16th to the 24th with rehearsals scheduled to begin Sept. 8th.

Russ Weatherford's BLACKER Opens Tonight at Urban Stages

Russ Weatherford's 'Blacker,' a new play exploring Oscar Wilde's little-known brush with the Dreyfus Affair, begins an exclusive two-week engagement on Wednesday August 26 at Urban Stages, 259 West 30th Street. Directed by David Austin, and produced by Sandi Durell, the premiere of 'Blacker' plays through Thursday September 3. The official opening is also tonight, August 26, at 8pm.

Following critically acclaimed workshop presentations, Steven Carl McCasland's plays return to NYC in a month-long festival celebrating the young playwright.
