Encores! Artistic Director Jack Viertel today announced casting for the Encores! production of Do I Hear a Waltz?, the romantic, rarely-seen 1965 musical that marked the only collaboration of Richard Rodgers and Stephen Sondheim. Do I Hear a Waltz? will star Claybourne Elder, Melissa Errico, Sarah Hunt, Zachary Infante, Cass Morgan, Richard Poe, Michael Rosen, Sarah Stiles, and Richard Troxell. The ensemble includes Kristine Bendul, Paloma Garcia-Lee, Jenny Laroche, Jennifer Locke, Nathan Madden, Skye Mattox, Devin Roberts, Manny Stark, and Alex Wong.

Seth Sikes, of whom New York Arts Review said 'may well be one of the saviors of the Great American Songbook,' will make his Feinstein's at the Nikko debut on Thursday, June 16 (8 p.m.) for one performance only of his critically acclaimed show Seth Sikes Sings Liza Minnelli, an evening of Minnelli's most popular songs.

Sundance Institute today announced the eight new projects selected for its pilot Theatre Lab in the MENA region, held in Morocco, May 2016. The Lab is part of the Institute's international cultural exchange programs for independent artists, which include a new, multi-year commitment to support artists from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), broadening the work of its East African Theatre Exchange over the past 15 years. In its first production following a hit Off-Broadway run, Jesse Eisenberg's THE REVISIONIST will receive its West Coast debut at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in a new production directed by Robin Larsen. Leading the cast is Tony Award-winning star of August: Osage County Deanna Dunagan, Seamus Mulcahy and Ilia Volok. Previews begin in the Lovelace Studio Theater on Tuesday, March 29. Opening Night is Friday, April 1.

This spring, The Hypocrites are pleased to bring the award winning, Off-Broadway musical hit ADDING MACHINE: A Musical back to Chicago where it first premiered. Directed by Geoff Button, with music direction by Matt Deitchman and choreography by Katie Spelman, this heartbreaking musical adaptation of Elmer Rice's play The Adding Machine features music by Joshua Schmidt and book and lyrics by Jason Loewith and Schmidt. ADDING MACHINE: A Musical will play March 18 - May 15, 2016 at The Den Theatre's Heath Main Stage, 1329 N. Writers Theatre today opened its new theatre center, featuring two theatres in a stunning building designed by Studio Gang Architects, led by principal Jeanne Gang, and built by general contractor W.E. O'Neil Construction. The new home, the centerpiece of a $34 million fundraising campaign, provides nationally-recognized Writers Theatre with two intimate performance spaces under one roof, improved patron and artist amenities, and rehearsal and production spaces. Located on the site of the former Woman's Library Club of Glencoe, the new center was developed in partnership with the Woman's Library Club and the Village of Glencoe.

?Due to popular demand, A Red Orchid Theatre has extended its critically-acclaimed production of Tennessee Williams' The Mutilated, directed by Ensemble Member Dado. The Mutilated will now run through March 13, 2016. The Mutilated features Ensemble Members Lance Baker, Jennifer Engstrom, Mierka Girten, Steve Haggard, Shade Murray, Doug Vickers and Natalie West with Ciera Dawn, Jennifer Glasse, Roy Gonzalez, Mario Hernandez, Morgan Maher, Lauren Vogel and Dominque Worsley.
