Atlantic Theater Company has announced a second extension of the critically acclaimed world premiere production of the new musical The Band's Visit.

Celebrated actor/director/playwright Austin Pendleton* (Bway: Fiddler on the Roof, Diary of Anne Frank; Grand Hotel; Film: 'A Beautiful Mind,' 'Finding Nemo,' 'Finding Dory') stars in House Red Theatre Company's inaugural production of Consider the Lilies by Stuart Fail.

The Band's Visit began previews November 11 and opened just last night at Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

Due to extremely high ticket demand, Anna Deavere Smith's critically acclaimed new work, NOTES FROM THE FIELD, has added a performance at 1pm on Wednesday, December 14. The production plays through Sunday, December 18th at Second Stage Theatre (305 West 43rd Street).

The Ogunquit Playhouse has announced the launch of a new works program to incubate and develop new musicals for the stage.
