Directed by Hal Brooks, Be a Good Little Widow will run tonight, May 11 - June 9, 2013 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad PrebysTheatre Center. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), in association with the Loeb Drama Center, begins performances of the runaway hit of the 2012 Emerging AmericaFestival, Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance, in a new adaptation by Sean Graney and Kevin O'Donnell, arranged by Kevin O'Donnell and the Cast. Performances begin tonight, May 10, 2013 with press opening on Wednesday, May 15, and runs through June 2, 2013.

Caroline Aaron, Michelle Beck, Peter Grosz and Carla Gugino will be featured in the cast of the upcoming LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater world premiere production of A KID LIKE JAKE, a new play by Daniel Pearle, directed by Evan Cabnet. A KID LIKE JAKE begins previews Sunday, June 2, opens Monday, June 17 and will run through Sunday, July 14 at the Claire Tow Theater, 150 West 65 Street.

Richard Cotovsky to Receive 2013 Special Award at Jeff Awards Non-Equity Ceremony

The Jeff Awards Committee has announced that Mary Arrchie Theatre's Richard Cotovsky will receive a Special Award at the 40th Annual Non-Equity Jeff Awards Ceremony on Monday, June 3, 2013. He will be honored for his cutting edge contributions to Non-Equity Theatre over the past four decades, during which he was dubbed the "Godfather of Storefront Theater" by Nick Digilio of WGN radio.

Earlier this week, Huntington Theatre Company raised more than $1,005,000 at the Spotlight Spectacular gala honoring longtime supporters Trustee Judith Krupp and her husband Douglas and visionary Our Town director David Cromer. The celebratory event at the Boston Park Plaza Castle was attended by more than 500 guests and featured entertainment from Broadway stars Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana (the prince and title character from Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella), cast members from Cromer's acclaimed Huntington production of Our Town, and a rousing sneak peek of The Jungle Book, which opens at the Huntington in September. The Krupps were celebrated by Broadway stars Fontana and Osnes, who performed Cole Porter's 'You're the Top' updated with 21st century and Boston-specific lyrics and you can check it out below!

Mississippi Mud Productions will present The Blonde Bombshell Project, a new solo play written and starring Jen Danby and directed by Tony Nominee and Obie-Winning Director Austin Pendleton. Fresh from their collaboration as Catharine Holly and Dr. Sugar in Suddenly, Last Summer with Mississippi Mud, this new solo work is about about legendary Hollywood 'Blonde Bombshell' Marilyn Monroe in her final summer of 1962. ??
