This production marks the off-Broadway producing debut for The National Theatre when it premiered on Sunday, March 20th 2016.

From Lucy Prebble, "one of the UK's hottest new playwrights" (The Telegraph), The Effect takes on our pill-popping culture with humor and scintillating drama.
