Through out the past week, BroadwayWorld has been brinigng you coverage of the 67th Annual Emmy Awards with a decidedly theatre-specific focus, and tonight will be no different. At some point during the tedious Red Carpet, I will begin live blogging everything from the Andy Samberg's hosting performance to the awards to the acceptance speeches, and everything inbetween. That being typed, I will be doing this in shorts and a t-shirt, so don't expect too much fashion commentary.

Pursuing their mission of showcasing new and unheard musical theater tunes, A LITTLE NEW MUSIC returns to Rockwell: Table & Stage in Los Feliz tonight, September 15 at 8 p.m. with its most exciting program to date featuring Broadway and local talent. Jordan Kai Burnett (Love is a Battlefield) returns as the spicy chanteuse hostess. Bryan Blaskie (Assistants: The Musical) will return as musical director.

One of the hottest tickets in Los Angeles every year is the inspiring 15-minute musicals developed at New Musicals Inc. There are seven musicals this year, having their world premiere on June 29, 30, and July 1 at the Lonny Chapman Theatre in North Hollywood. Viewers nationwide will be able to sample the network's award-winning programming on SHOWTIME, SHOWTIME On Demand, SHOWTIME ANYTIME and select distributors' TV Everywhere portals. The Free Preview weekend will include sampling of the season premieres of the hit comedy series SHAMELESS, HOUSE OF LIES and EPISODES, hard-hitting sports programming, as well as feature films, including the television premieres of Philomena and Last Vegas.
