WE SPEAK PEACE features performing artists from Ukraine, Russia, Afghanistan, and New York City in a one night only event. Led by NYC playwright/poet Galinsky and gallerist/filmmaker Jay Bulger, the eclectic group of performers feel the need to speak out and share right now. 

The first lyrics Amayo wrote & sung from the GRAMMY nominated “Fu Chronicles” Antibalas album for the song “Fist of Flowers” (Best Global Music Album of the Year 2020) begin with 'the end is a new beginning.' That is true with his 23-year run as the Lead Singer and Face of the band Antibalas. He conceptualized, composed, performed on, and illustrated the latest Antibalas album “Fu Chronicles” earning the band its first GRAMMY nomination.

A self-professed fan of Byrne’s work as frontman for the legendary Talking Heads, as well as his solo career, Montaigne reached out to the New York based songwriter to lend his iconic vocals to the track. Upon hearing the music, Byrne quickly became a fan in return and the resulting collaboration is a buoyant tune and accompanying vulnerability.

Loren Berí has shared his first-ever single, “My Brooklyn (Is Better Than Yours),” where Beri's longtime, idealistic idea of New York City meets the real experience of living there. Broadway and television star Andy Mientus brings Joni Mitchell’s iconic 1970 album “Ladies of the Canyon” to life in a new filmed concert, captured last winter in New Hope, Pennsylvania. The film features performances by Christy Altomare, Tony Award winner Nikki M. James, Krista Pioppi, and Cathy Ang.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts Off-Center has announced the rescheduled dates for the world premiere immersive production, Theater of the Mind, co-created by creator of the Broadway hit American Utopia, David Byrne, and writer Mala Gaonkar, and premiering in Denver August 31 through December 18, 2022.

NYC & Company, New York City's official destination marketing organization and convention and visitors bureau, today announced the extension of NYC Broadway Week 2-for-1 tickets to 15 participating shows for an additional two weeks, through February 27.
