Arts Ignite has announced the 15th anniversary of its annual benefit concert, New York City Christmas: A Concert to Benefit Arts Ignite, to take place Monday, December 9 at 7:00 PM at Joe's Pub at The Public in New York City.
The Spire Center for Performing Arts announced four new shows including comedian Paul Gilligan on April 5, New Orleans Style R&B and Blues group Fat City Band on May 3, six-time Grammy-nominated band Roomful of Blues plays on June 7, and Jerry Garcia tribute string band Deadgrass on August 3.

New York-based singer/songwriter Shlomo Franklin announced his debut release, Don't Love Anybody EP. Out on May 18th, the five-song EP is a collection of raw folk songs inspired by 60s and 70s Woodstock icons and produced by Grammy Award winner C. Lanzbom (Pete Seeger, Bruce Springsteen). After years of living a double life, Don't Love Anybody EP is a claim to self-identity for Shlomo Franklin where he finds a world all his own through the power of music. MAC and Bistro Award-winning vocalist Stearns Matthews performs the newest recording of Tony Award-winning composer-lyricist Maury Yeston's (Nine, Grand Hotel, Titanic) song cycle, December Songs. This marks the first time the song cycle has been recorded by a man.
Written and directed by Jay Michaels and Mary Elizabeth Micari, the group features singer/comedian Dave Richards along with Christine Conway and international performer Emmy Pai.
