Nylon Fusion Theatre Company Will Present the World Premiere of RAY GUN SAY0NARA, a Sci-Fi Play With Songs

Nylon Fusion Theatre Company in association with The Constellation Project will present the World Premiere of ray gun say0nara, a sci-fi play with songs written by Steven Mark Tenney, directed by Janet Bentley at The New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street New York, NY 10014), December 4-22. Performances will be on Wednesday, December 4 at 7pm, Thursday, December 5 at 7pm, Saturday, December 7 at 3pm, Sunday, December 8 at 7pm, Monday, December 9 at 7pm, Wednesday, December 11 at 7pm, Saturday, December 14 at 7pm, Sunday, December 15 at 3pm, Monday, December 16 at 7pm, Friday, December 20 at 7pm, Saturday, December 21 at 3pm, and Sunday, December 22 at 3pm.

The Shed Opens This Friday With Specially Commissioned New Works

The Shed, New York City's new arts center dedicated to commissioning, develops, and presents original works of art, across all disciplines, for all audiences, will open to the public on April 5 with the world premiere of Soundtrack of America. The five-night concert series, conceived and directed by Steve McQueen with a creative team led by Quincy Jones and Maureen Mahon, celebrates the unrivaled impact of African American music on contemporary culture with performances by a new generation of artists. A free live stream of the April 5 concert will be available on The Shed's website, TheShed.org, and its social media channels.

City Harvest Announces Hunger Action Month Partnerships to Raise Awareness of Hunger in New York City

Even in the world's greatest food-producing nation, more than 46 million people - including 13 million children - in the United States don't know where their next meal is coming from. To raise awareness of hunger in New York City, where more than 1.2 million residents struggle to put food on the table, City Harvest, the city's largest food rescue organization and a member of Feeding America, today announced its participation in Hunger Action Month. With potential cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) in the Farm Bill threatening the wellbeing of millions of people nationwide, it is more important than ever to take action.

A Cereal State Of Mind - Kellogg's' Opens First-Ever Permanent Cafe In NYC

The heart of New York City is the new home of cereal innovation and delicious experimentation. On Monday, July 4, Kellogg's is opening the doors to Kellogg's NYC, its first-ever permanent caf, located at 1600 Broadway (between W 48 th and 49 th Street). The cafwill serve dishes featuring Kellogg's cereals combined with unique ingredients, all served with a side of fun.
