Grammy Award Winner Christopher Tin Makes His Conducting Debut At Carnegie Hall With CALLING ALL DAWNS

Christopher Tin, the two-time Grammy Award winner is making his Carnegie Hall conducting debut with the presentation of his classical crossover album Calling All Dawns. Presented by DCINY, Tin, the DCINY composer-in-residence, will be leading a mass choir of singers performing Calling All Dawns with a full orchestra. Featured soloists are Jacqueline Horner-Kwiatek, Mezzo-Soprano, Michael Odokara-Okigbo (Michael O.), Tenor, Camille Brault, Mezzo-Soprano, Holly Sedillos, Soprano, and DeAnna Choi, Soprano.

 BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) is proud to announce that film composer and celebrated jazz musician Terence Blanchard will be named a BMI Icon at the 35th annual BMI Film, TV & Visual Media Awards in recognition of his significant contributions to the cinematic community.  The ceremony will also honor award-winning composer, arranger, orchestrator and conductor William Ross with the BMI Classic Contribution Award, and salute the top performing composers in film, TV and visual media of the past year. It was announced today that the world premiere production of Pulitzer Prize finalist and MacArthur Fellow Taylor Mac's new comedy Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus, has now set its Opening Night for Sunday, April 21, 6:00 p.m., at Broadway's Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street). Preview performances began on Monday, March 11.
