SYLVIA, the acclaimed comedy by two-time Pulitzer Prize-nominee A.R. Gurney (The Dining Room, Love Letters) proudly announces its TUESDAY TALK-BACK SERIES. Beginning this coming Tuesday, November 10th, audiences will be invited to stay for post-show discussions that will feature members of the Sylvia cast and company, in addition to leading animal experts, authors, media personalities and animal- related non-profits.

On November 2, the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) celebrated the 2014-2015 season's Joe A. Callaway Award winners for Direction and Choreography.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced that Olivier Award-winning actor Conleth Hill, accomplished on both stage and screen, will play the title role opposite Frances McDormand in a new production of Macbeth directed by Daniel Sullivan, opening in February 2016.

It was 20 years ago when Sarah Jessica Parker starred Off-Broadway in A.R. Gurney's off-beat comedy about a man and his dog, SYLVIA. Just last night her hubby Matthew Broderick had the honor of opening in SYLVIA on Broadway, joined by Annaleigh Ashford as Sylvia, with Julie White and Robert Sella. '[Thank you] to an incredible cast of British and American actors who make the Atlantic look like a little creek you can just kind of pop across,' said Dame Helen Mirren upon receiving her 2015 Tony Award. Broadway's new comedy SYLVIA will celebrate the importance of man's best friend with an upcoming pop-up adoption Sunday, October 18th from 10am-1pm at The Cort Theatre (138 W 48th St.). Theater and pet lovers alike are invited to come meet five adoptable puppies provided by Bideawee, the leading pet welfare organization in the metropolitan New York and Long Island area.
