Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Joy Oladokun will continue her extensive “Living Proof” headline tour through November with newly confirmed shows at Dallas’ Kessler Theater, Austin’s Scoot Inn, Los Angeles’ The Belasco, Seattle’s The Showbox, Portland’s McMenamins Crystal Ballroom and San Francisco’s The Fillmore among many others.
Recorded in the band’s native Minneapolis and featuring appearances from Jason Isbell and My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, the collection also features co-writes with Grammy-winning songwriters Lori McKenna and Amy Allen, who co-wrote the album’s single “The Rope,” that was released alongside an official video.
Produced by Dave Cobb, Morgane Stapleton, and Stapleton, Higher was recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studio A. Across its 14 songs, Stapleton showcases his supernatural voice and musical versatility. The songs were recorded between Creation Studios in Minneapolis, MN and Ballroom Studio in Los Angeles, and produced by Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and producer Dan Wilson and his co-founding bandmates John Munson and Jacob Slichter. The two new songs arrive as the band embarked on their first tour in over 20 years with the Barenaked Ladies.

The 14-track album is available for pre-order nowand features five new Celine Dion songs, including the title track “Love Again” written by Dan Wilson and Arista Records artist ROSIE.
