Three best selling authors are collaborating in support of the Reach Out and Read Book Bank for St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Proceeds from their best selling titles will be donated to the cause, and the authors aim for hundreds, if not thousands of books to be donated to the book bank throughout February.
'This is why we write books; to reach the hands and hearts of children,' says Elle Febbo, author of 'What Love Is A-Z'. 'but there's no way we could reach them all by ourselves. Considering the book bank gifts more than 30,000 books each year, we know we have big work to do but we also know that together, anything is possible.'
Dr. Dan Taylor, a pediatrician and founder of CAPS4KIDS.org is also excited about the campaign. 'Early childhood literacy and age appropriate content is critical for healthy growth and development; these particular titles are a welcome addition to the book bank.'
