THE DJANGO, downtown Manhattan’s premier jazz club, will continue to host today’s jazz legends and rising stars. On February 3, The Django celebrates the fifth anniversary of the Brooklyn-based record label, La Reserve, with special performances by the label’s artists.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater kicks off 2022 with a full slate of nightly performances.

International award-winning jazz recording artist Alexis Cole launches JazzVoice.org, a new website for singers worldwide – from passionate amateurs to emerging professionals – that connects vocal students with professional jazz vocalists and skilled jazz educators for unique virtual vocal classes. Singers at every level are welcome at JazzVoice.org; the only requirement is a love for the craft.

For Stephen Sondheim's 90th Birthday Stephen Mosher makes a list of 90 cabaret-themed videos of his songs. It's Epic and it will be a great way to distract yourself during your time at home.

City Winery Chicago, 1200 W. Randolph Street, announces four-time Grammy Award-winning artist Delbert McClinton, Americana singer-songwriter Chris Knight and more. The following shows go on sale to the public on Friday, February 21 at noon. Tickets will be available at citywinery.com/chicago.

Fresh off of national television, Melinda Rose Rodriguez made her debut performance at one of the most acclaimed jazz clubs in the world, Birdland. The concert consisted of Melinda's original music with a few favorite standards. Melinda's music reminds listeners on timeless standards with a quirky twist. The show featured up and coming pianist/vocalist Alina Engibaryan, with Dan Montgomery on bass and Evan Hyde on drums.

In announcing its new Jazz Circle, the Emelin renews its commitment to presenting the very best in jazz. The inaugural season presents some of the most respected and acclaimed musicians in the genre performing today, including Grammy-winning saxophonist and composer Joe Lovano and two-time Grammy nominated trumpeter Dave Douglas, the three time GRAMMY award winner and principal innovator of jazz guitar John Scofield and jazz trumpeter extraordinaire Dr. Eddie Henderson.
