After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, Broadway Sacramento has confirmed casting for the six shows in the 68th Broadway At Music Circus season. The casts include a number of Broadway veterans-some of whom are making their Broadway At Music Circus debuts-and audience favorites from previous Broadway At Music Circus productions.

For those not around in 1971, it's easy to be ignorant of the huge impact that Carole King's seminal album, Tapestry, had at the time. Beautiful The Carole King Musical opens with King's concert at Carnegie Hall to celebrate the amazing success of that album. It then quickly flashes back to a 16 year old Carole about to sell her first song. What follows is the incredible story of her marriage, motherhood and stellar song writing partnership with her husband Gerry Goffin.

The National Theatre's 2018-2019 Broadway at the National season continues its long history as the home for world premieres of landmark American musicals and pre-Broadway attractions with the world premiere of the new Broadway-bound musical comedy BEETLEJUICE (October 14-November 18, 2018), based on Tim Burton's iconic film.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Melissa Benoist, who currently steals the screen in the title role of The CW's hit show, 'Supergirl', will make her Broadway debut as Carole King this summer in Broadway's hit, Beautiful-The Carole King Musical. Ms. Benoist will begin performances on June 7 and will play a limited run through August 4th, 2018.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announce that the Tony & Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will return by popular demand to the Connor Palace at Playhouse Square for two weeks, June 5-17. Tickets are available now starting at $10.00.

The 2018-2019 season includes six Broadway shows, headlined by the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Blockbuster Beautiful - The Carole King Musical. More often than not, I go to a show and sit through the entire thing with the biggest grin on my face. Beautiful: The Carole King Musical was no exception. The musical is the type where I did not want it to be over as the curtain closed. The Tony nominated musical chronicles Carole Klein's, later known as Carole King, early music career as a composer at the young age of 17. She meets Gerry Goffin in college where they form not only a musical partnership, but a romantic relationship. The duo wrote some of the most iconic songs of the 50's and 60's, so much so that the audience was cheering when just a few notes were played from these songs. Beautiful depicts the growth of careers, beginnings of friendships, and end of relationships in the most extraordinary way. Every performance was absolutely stunning and wonderful.

The song-writing partnership of Carole King and Gerry Goffin was such a formidable force in the sixties that even Lennon and McCartney often spoke about wanting to emulate them. It's with this partnership then, that Beautiful: The Carol King Musical spends most of it's time.

In January 2018, Broadway Across Canada announced the three musical productions coming to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre as part of the company's 2018-2019 season. Miller Auditorium is pleased to announce its 2018-19 Zhang Financial Broadway in West Michigan Series.  Headlining the series is a two-week engagement of the spectacular new production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA from Feb. 6-17, 2019. Miller will also host MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT, CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE and BEAUTIFUL - The Carole King Musical during the 2018-19 season.

Broadway In Boston, Boston's mainstage for Broadway, has unveiled the upcoming 2018-2019 Lexus Broadway Season during its annual spring announcement event at the Boston Opera House.  Eleven theatrical productions will take center stage at the Boston Opera House and the Emerson Colonial Theatre.  Over 1500 people from around the city gathered for the annual celebration including Broadway In Boston's Season ticket holders, group leaders, arts and business leaders, city officials, partners from around the city, sponsors and the Boston media.  Highlights from the day included live performances from cast members of DEAR EVAN HANSEN, ROALD DAHL'S CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, SCHOOL OF ROCK and A BRONX TALE.
