And just like all of us, I wondered how they are dealing with the abrupt end of productions in which they were involved. This Spotlight focuses on Robert Yacko, one of the busiest triple-threat performers in Los Angeles!

HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN is being presented as a Mother's Day special on Sunday, May 10 at 8pm. Participants will be able to stream on a smart TV, computer, smartphone or tablet. After the performance, audience members will be able to communicate directly with Felder, via text or online, in a post-show audience encore.

James Taylor returns to the Ed Sullivan Theater to perform 'Almost Like Being in Love,' off his new album 'American Standard.'

New York Theatre Barn will produce a reading of the new musical A Complicated Woman: The John Kenley Show on February 27th, 2020 in New York City. The reading will be directed by Jeff Calhoun (Newsies, Bonnie and Clyde, Big River). New York Theatre Barn serves as a home for new musicals during incubation.

BroadwayHD dives into the new decade with a collection of awe-inspiring and bold productions this month. Leading the roster is the 1954 classic film Brigadoon, starring Cyd Charisse and Gene Kelly, which comes to the platform on January 1. Six-time Tony Award-nominated production of Red, starring Tony Nominee Alfred Molina and Harry Potter film star Alfred Enoch, will be available starting January 9. Donmar Warehouse's contemporary and innovative all-female production of Shakespeare's Henry IV makes its way to the platform on January 16, while Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht's The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny joins on January 23. Finally, one of the greatest successes of the National Ballet of Norway, the stunning ballet Hedda Gabler, will be available on January 30.

Felder's performance is sublime. Watching his hands manipulate the keys of the Steinway Concert Grand Piano is a thing of beauty almost like watching the seemingly effortless movements of Gene Kelly and Syd Charise in American In Paris. So much so, it felt as if I were floating, gliding, and soaring above my seat throughout the production. Felder's performance is so genuine and strong, tears were brought to many an eye when he setup his performance of the duet from Porgy and Bess. He explains the evolution of this and other pieces providing fascinating insight and showing what an absolute genius Gershwin was. Felder's performance of the entire Rhapsody in Blue itself is well worth the price of admission. Happily, the show provides much more including both Q&A and sing-along segments.

The Sonoma Speaker Series is partnering with Transcendence Theatre Company to bring Donna McKechnie to our stage! McKechnie is a professional dancer, singer, actress, choreographer, and author whose illustrious career has spanned more than 50 years. Robert Wagner, the handsome and debonair actor and one of the most popular and successful stars in the entertainment industry, has been named to be the recipient of the Gold Coast International Film Festival's second annual Burton Moss Hollywood Golden Era Award. Regina Gil, founder and executive director of the Gold Coast Arts Center and its Gold Coast International Film Festival, announced the selection along with members of an advisory board that included such noted celebrities as Joel Grey, Larry King, Richard Thomas, Edwina Sandys, Mrs. Anthony Katherine Quinn, Tippi Hedren, Greg Mullavey, Carole Shelley, Angie Dickinson, Diane Baker, Stefanie Powers and Constance Towers Gavin.

Music Theater Works (formerly Light Opera Works) presents Cole Porter's classic 1930s musical comedy, ANYTHING GOES, at Cahn Auditorium in Evanston, August 18 through 26. A Big Band orchestra accompanies such well-known songs as 'I Get a Kick Out of You,' 'It's De-Lovely,' 'Friendship' and 'You're the Top.'
