IFC Films announced today that director Mike Birbiglia's critical and box office hit Sleepwalk With Me will be available to purchase exclusively on iTunes in the US & Canada from December 4th through December 17th. Beginning December 18th, fans will also be able to rent the film on iTunes.

As BroadwayWorld first reported, a reading is currently taking place for SOAP DISH THE MUSICAL, directed by Rob Ashford, with a book by Robert Harling, music by George Stiles and Lyrics by Anthony Drewe. The cast of includes Kristin Chenoweth, John Stamos, Jane Krakowski, Cristin Milioti, Anne L. Nathan, Michael Park, Miriam Shor and Daniel Torres. At this time there has been no formal announcement, or set timetable for the show. The reading is being presented by Laurence Mark, Donald De Line and Broadway Across America.

The producers of Broadway's ONCE are seeking one five to seven year old girl to play IVANKA, the sweet natured daughter of GIRL. Actresses should be comfortable on stage and have the ability to sing. The Casting Society of America (CSA) has announced the presenters for the organization's New Y0rk 28th Annual Artios Awards for outstanding achievement in casting given in 22 categories including film, television and theater. The bi-coastal award ceremonies will be held simultaneously on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. PDT) and at XL Nightclub, Cabaret & Lounge (512 West 42nd Street) in New York (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. EDT).

As the CAP21 Theatre Company celebrates their 20th Anniversary, Executive Artistic Director, Frank Ventura and Artistic Director, Eliza Ventura have announced CAP21's 2012-2013 ambitious "Season of New Work", which promises to further develop at least 20 new musicals in the coming year through various programming that the Theatre Company offers. Additionally the upcoming year will include two Off-Off Broadway productions: Maiden Voyage (working title) by musical team Michelle Elliott and Danny Larsen and Recount (working title), a co-production with Rescue Agreement. Both productions are being developed through CAP21 programs and resources.
According to the Daily Mail, the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Once has found a London home at the Phoenix Theatre and is set to begin performances in March 2013.
Before a grade-school backdrop depicting heathery hills, a pair of confused theatre-goers struggle with an outdated map of Broadway while an offstage chorus sings, “Brink of doom, Brink of do-om,” and before you can say “Come ye to the spoof,” the cast of Forbidden Broadway: Alive and Kicking is promising that, “Just like Jesus and Judy Garland, we're resurrected again.”

Tony-nominated actress Cristin Milioti, who plays the role of 'Girl' in the musical ONCE appeared on NBC 4 NEW YORK yesterday to talk about the hit Broadway show. Milioti shared her belief that it is the play's honesty which has created such a strong response from audiences. 'It's not a fairytale,' explains the actress, 'that makes it very relatable.'
