Tickets for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra's 2021 performances of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in Concert will go on sale to the public on February 14 at 10 am. Attendees of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert performances February 7-9 will receive a special presale. Through a double-feature deal, concertgoers can save when purchasing tickets to multiple concerts in the Star Wars film concert series.

The holiday season kicks off November 28-December 2 with Tchaikovsky for the Holidays. The Houston Symphony and Music Director Andr s Orozco-Estrada announced today details of the 2018-19 season, which marks Orozco-Estrada's fifth year as music director. Highlights of the season include conducting appearances by world-class violinists Joshua Bell and Itzhak Perlman; the world premiere of Aurora, a violin concerto by Houston Symphony Composer-in-Residence Jimmy L pez; and a semi-staged opera performance of Bart k's Bluebeard's Castle.

A multi-generational community was created at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's HOME ALONE IN CONCERT. I grew up watching the film and it quickly became a tradition during the holiday season. Spending an evening laughing beside children who are maybe seeing the film for the first time, or grandparents who remember watching the film with their children and are now watching with their grandchildren - all while the score is brought to life by a live orchestra and choir - now that is beautiful.
