We are teenagers and it is a time where we get to built our solid foundations for our career, forge professional relationships for future opportunities but also it is a time where we want to experience love in a romantic way.

The four winning plays are: Spring in the Underworld by Shelby Powers (7th grade, Burgettstown Middle School), Bird Without a Nest by Sophia Khan (7th grade, Sewickley Academy), A Boring Street in the Middle of Nowhere by Lucy Potts (9th grade, Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12), and Never Too Late to Change by Ayanna Bennett (10th grade, Alumni Theatre Company/Westinghouse Arts Academy).  

These new board members join the current board of seven who were intimately involved in selecting Sean San José and who support his vision of making the Magic Theatre the new artistic home for multicultural, multi-generational forms of performance in San Francisco.

Every aspect of this production works together seamlessly and synergistically.  What's more, the team deploys seemingly simple techniques and tactics with very positive results.  The scenery consists of a park bench and a few sheets of fabric.  There is one actor in only one costume with no changes.  

CollaborAzian's production of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder premiered last week on Broadway On Demand to wide success. The all-Asian American production of the Tony Award winning musical set to benefit the work of Stop AAPI Hate and has raised over $25,000 to date. 

I find this show so inspiring because sometimes we are trying too much to fit or to follow our plans that maybe we're missing to have fun, enjoy the ride or we're not looking other ways to get where we want, and I think maybe it's because we doubt ourselves, which is normal but sometimes that little voice inside us has the answer, so we have to learn to listen to what it says and never doubt it because deeply in our hearts we know what we want and that voice will leads us to that.
