VTA Presents THE WIZARD OF OZ

Victoria Theatre Association's Projects Unlimited Star Attractions presents the greatest family musical of all time, THE WIZARD OF OZ, Oct. 23-25 at 7 p.m. in the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center.

The Shakespeare Theatre Of New Jersey Presents CHARLEY'S AUNT

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's 56th season leaps into the chill of autumn with a classic that will warm the hearts of people of all ages. Charley's Aunt, the hilarious late 19th century comedy of manners by Brandon Thomas, will be presented for the first time on the STNJ stage. Joseph Discher returns to direct. Returning company favorites John Ahlin, Peter Simon Hilton, David Andrew Macdonald, and Erika Rolfsrud are featured amongst the cast of 10 that will bring this delightful farce to life. Performances begin October 24. Patrons can purchase tickets at The F.M. La Mirada Announces Cast and Creative for MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS

La Mirada Theatre For The Performing Arts & Mccoy Rigby Entertainment announce the cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of AGATHA CHRISTIE'S MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, adapted for the stage by Ken Ludwig and directed by Sheldon Epps. AGATHA CHRISTIE'S MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS will preview on Friday, October 19, 2018 (with a press opening on Saturday, October 20 at 8pm) and perform through Sunday, November 11, 2018 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.

Amazon Studios Greenlights Bear Grylls' Competition Series ECO-CHALLENGE 2019

Amazon Studios today unveiled plans for Eco-Challenge 2019, the toughest global outdoor multi-sport endurance race on Earth from MGM Television and prolific Emmy Award-winning producer and Mark Burnett, to be hosted by survival and adventure phenom Bear Grylls. The ten-episode event series will pit teams of four competitors selected from around the world against each other and nature's harsh elements in this grueling 24-hours a day, multi-day race. If one teammate quits the entire team is disqualified, which magnifies the pressure. The 2019 location for the international, epic adventure will be unveiled later this year. Eco-Challenge 2019 will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in over 200 countries and territories.

Women Veteran Art Exhibit Displayed At Schuster Center Next Month

Victoria Theatre Association and the Greater Miami Valley myVeteran Community announce the opening of the Women Veterans Art Exhibit on Monday, Oct. 1, in the Orchestra Lobby of the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center. The exhibit is free, open to the public and runs until Wednesday, Oct. 17. The public may view the display Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday, 12-4 p.m. unless the building is closed for a private event. Call (937) 228-7591 to confirm hours.
