DANDY DARKLY'S ALL ABOARD! Comes to New York for Limited Run

Dandy Darkly's All Aboard! debuts at Under St. Marks Theater fresh from award-winning, sold out performances in Edinburgh, London and San Francisco.
Where were you the night the Gaybird Steamer ran off her rails? Dandy Darkly's latest is a glorious Georgia ghost story as told by the peculiar characters there that tragic night - from the little boy chased by the ghosts that still haunt her as an adult to the cruel Colonel buried in his bunker, tinkering with his sinister toys.
Dandy Darkly's All Aboard! is a raucous uprooting of Deep South shame served alongside sizzling social satire and howling humor. Enjoy a dripping earful of Southern Gothic grotesquery: creepy corporate robots, African spider gods, beauty shop gossip and inbred family freakery. Also, trains, trains, and more trains! All aboard, for Dandy's best show yet.
The show is written and performed by Dandy Darkly and directed by longtime collaborator Ian Bjorklund. Dandy Darkly regales his thoughtful tales alongside a nonstop soundscape of pre-recorded music composed by Adam Tendler (piano), Bryce Edwards (bass), Jeffrey Underhill (guitar, banjo), Carlos Espinosa Jr. (saxophone) and Rachel Blumberg (percussion), The show is peppered with eclectic sound effects to create an utterly immersive storytelling experience that simply must be seen to be believed.
Dandy Darkly's All Aboard! won "Best of the Fringe" at the 2018 San Francisco Fringe Festival and received massive critical acclaim abroad at the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Esteemed theatrical journal The Stage named All Aboard! one of the top performances at the Fringe out of 3,300+ shows. Venture off-off-Broadway to witness one of New York City's preeminent storytellers creating work that is utterly unlike anything else you'll see anywhere. Believe the hype.
