Instead of the annual production on the Common, CSC will present an online script-in-hand performance on Thursday, August 6 at 7:00PM, as a benefit to support CSC's 2021 production on the Boston Common, with the previously announced cast led by John Douglas Thompson* in the role of Prospero.

The Movement Theatre Company has announced a second round of 1MOVE: DES19NED BY... commissions for theatrical designers, co-curated by Dede Ayite, Stacey Derosier, and Tony Award winner Paul Tazewell. This round of 1MOVE will amplify the work of Black designers and creative collaborators.

Scenic Design is by Tony Award winner Clint Ramos and Jeffrey Petersen, Costume Design by Nancy Leary, Lighting Design by Eric Southern, and Sound Design by David Reiffel.

The Awards will be presented during a special online event on Sunday, May 3, broadcast on the official website - www.LortelAwards.org - beginning at 7:00pm ET. A virtual 'host' and presenters will be announced at a later date. As always, the Lortel Awards will be a benefit for The Actors Fund and fans are encouraged to make donations at actorsfund.org/Lortel.
