If you hurry over the Providence Performing Arts Center, you might still be able to catch one of the last performances of LES MIS. This show is a force of nature and hardly needs me to tell you how great it is, which is a good thing since it closes tomorrow night. Not my call, it's how the production company wanted it.

Robert Mackintosh in association with The Other Palace are delighted to announce casting for the 'Work in Progress' production of Alain Boublil's MANHATTAN PARISIENNE.

From the looks of it, there's no sign of the playwright letting up; in fact, 'Obra ni Juan' shows all the signs of another critical renown.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) and CPA Theatricals present Numbers Nerds, the [almost] all-girl math challenge, with book by Laura Stratford, Music by David Kornfeld, lyrics by Alex Higgin-Houser, additional music by Dylan MarcAurele and original story by Larry Little.  Amber Mak, New Works Development Director at Chicago's Paramount Theatre, directs and choreographs a cast of six, including Danielle Davila, Madison Kauffman, Jake Morrissy, Maisie Rose, Sharon Sachs (Film: 'Home Alone;'  TV: 'Weeds,' 'Dexter,' 'Grimm') and Tiffany Tatreau (Ride the Cyclone). Six performances will be staged at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater, 416 West 42nd Street, New York City from July 19-23, 2017.

Red Bull Theater today announced a very special Revelation Reading: for two nights only, on Sunday, June 18th and Monday June 19th at The Duke on 42nd Street (229 West 42nd Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues) Red Bull will present a concert reading of  THE COUNTRY WIFE, a new musical adapted from the play of the same name by William Wycherley by Richard Maltby Jr. with lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr. and music by David Shire, and direction by Mr. Maltby.

The award-winning Hanover High School Theatre Department will bring one of the most famous musicals in the world to the stage this spring. A cast and crew of dozens will present Les Miserables School Edition at the HHS Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 7 and 8 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 9.

One of Broadway's biggest stars, Lea Salonga, will be releasing a brand new live album, Blurred Lines (LML Music Label), which was recorded during her sold-out run at the famed Feinstein's / 54 Below last year.

Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical Miss Saigon opens tonight, March 23rd, at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway), where the original production of Miss Saigon opened on April 11, 1991. Miss Saigon will play a limited engagement through January 13, 2018, before launching a North American tour. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has announced the full casting for the world premiere of Bud, Not Buddy, a new play by Obie Award winner Kirsten Greenidge, adapted from Christopher Paul Curtis's acclaimed Newbury Medal winning novel, with music by world-renowned jazz artist and composer Terence Blanchard.

As reported back in 2015, Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg were busy reworking their musical MARTIN GUERRE for a West End return, backed by Cameron Mackintosh.

LES MISERABLES SCHOOL EDITION comes to the Riverdale YM-YWHA stage in a production performed entirely by the talented teens of the award-winning Riverdale Rising Stars.  The epic tale of broken dreams, passion and redemption will be presented for six performances only:
