Read all about it! The Front Page, Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's classic 1928 comedy set in the world of the Chicago newspaper business, will have its official opening performance tonight at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 W. 44th Street). Along with the slew of expected boldfaced names from the worlds of theater, film, television, and media, the opening night audience will also include the top thirty theater critics from around the country.

? The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleecker Street) announces the fall and winter programming of their 2016-2017 season. Featuring thought-provoking theater, film, music, poetry, art, and discourse, The Sheen Center will continue several successful series launched in their inaugural season, as well as maintain a focus on fostering new talent. Building on its first season that featured David Mamet and a re-envisioning of his play The Anarchist; Comedian Jim Gaffigan; speaker Michael Bloomberg; a panel discussion on Netflix's Daredevil with Marvel TV; red carpet screenings and an extended run of the hit play Universal Robots by Mac Rogers, the Sheen Center continues its excellence in diverse programming.

SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS, written by Bess Wohl, returns to New York this summer for a strictly limited engagement. Directed by Obie Award-winner Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812), SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS officially opened last night, July 13, for a run at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street) through September 25, 2016. Frenchie Davis (Rent, American Idol), Gideon Glick (Spider Man, Spring Awakening), Robin de Jesus (Two-time Tony nom. La Cage Aux Folles & In the Heights), Jay Armstrong Johnson (On the Town, Hands on a Hardbody) Ben Mayne (South Pacific tour), Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet, In the Heights), MJ Rodriguez (Runaways, Rent), Tony Sheldon (Tony nom. George Gershwin told her never to take voice lessons, and he and fellow scribes from Berlin to Porter worshipped Merman as a muse. The workshop of award-winning composer/lyricist/playwright/performer Max Vernon's new musical THE VIEW UPSTAIRS, directed by Scott Ebersold and with choreography by Spencer Liff and music direction by Matt Aument, began rehearsals last week in New York City and will culminate in three industry presentations on March 31st and April 1st. THE VIEW UPSTAIRS is produced by Invisible Wall Productions, and they are proud to announce the cast and creative team.
