In celebration of Tony Award-nominated composer Paul Gordon's recent relocation from Los Angles to New York City, Paul has released an archived and unknown video from his time as a pop Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter in the 1990s. Co-written with former rock band TOTO frontman, Joseph Williams, (and recorded with much of the TOTO band), the song 'I Am Alive', features Paul's rocking vocals and brilliant writing. When the title of the musical is followed by 'based on the book/film...', there tends to be one of two reactions- excitement (LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, MARY POPPINS, RAGTIME) or dread (SISTER ACT, GHOST, CARRIE). And while the Broadway-bound BECAUSE OF WINN DIXIE, now playing through May 10th at the Delaware Theatre Company, does not quite reach the level of LA CAGE or RAGTIME, it's hard to resist the feel-good charm bubbling off the stage.

BROADWAY LOVE, an evening of love songs and signature favorites is now joined by 'Rock of Ages' star Constantine Maroulis, and from 'An American in Paris' & 'Chicago', Michael Cusumano. These two stars join Broadway favorites: Kerry Butler, Telly Leung, Christine Pedi, James Carpinello, Ana McCleskey, Kate Loprest and Clarke Thorell to help raise money for HT Theatre, a musical theatre dept based at High Tech High School in North Bergen NJ on February 2nd, 2015 at 7pm.

Last August, the 12.14 Foundation premiered Michael Unger and Eric Svejcar's A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream. This week, the new musical comes to New York City at 54 BELOW. With a ton of energy and some serious vocal talent, the kids involved with the 12.14 Foundation and the Broadway vetted adults bring fabulous new life to William Shakespeare's classic tale of love and fairy mischief.
A ROCKIN' MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM will play 54 Below tomorrow, Jan. 5 and 8, with shows slated for 7:00 PM.
