New Repertory Theatre has extended Fiddler on the Roof, running December 2, 2016- January 1, 2017 in the Charles Mosesian Theater at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA.

Irish Arts Center, which projects a dynamic image of Ireland and Irish America for the 21st century, is pleased to present Voices Carry: A Celebration of Women Writing, December 6. Organized by author and playwright Honor Molloy and directed by Kira Simring, the event features Ms. Molloy and actors Gina Costigan, Angel Desai and Orlagh Cassidy in dramatic readings of 20th Century works spanning a variety of forms, including memoir, novels, poetry, drama, and radio. The featured texts-by renowned contemporary authors Anne Enright andEdna O'Brien; playwright Gina Moxley; and late writers including Leland Bardwell, Maeve Brennan, Elizabeth Bowen, Lucy Grealy, Maura Laverty, and Claire McAllister-explore the humor, depth, and resilience of Irish and Irish American women.

Yale Repertory Theatre presents August Wilson's SEVEN GUITARS, directed by Timothy Douglas, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street) now through December 17. Opening Night is tonight, December 1.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley presents an enchanting musical romance for the holidays, Daddy Long Legs, created by John Caird (Book) and Paul Gordon (Music & Lyrics). Based on the novel by Jean Webster, this tuneful yuletide treat from the director of Les Miserables, and the composer of Jane Eyre and Jane Austen's EMMA, tells the tale of a spirited orphan girl who is sent to a prestigious college by a mysterious benefactor. Her heartwarming journey to independence, education, and romance during the suffragette-era in New England is chronicled in a wealth of witty letters and glorious songs.

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's winter acting class schedule, for young performers ages 3 to 14, offers adventures with imaginative sea creatures, wizards, zombies and contemporary musicals to engage young imaginations in creative and confidence-building ways.

They're back! Cinderella, the stepsisters, and more return to the stage for Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati's world premiere, family-friendly musical Cinderella: After Ever After, by local playwright Joseph McDonough with lyrics by David Kisor and music by Fitz Patton.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey rings in the holiday season with a timeless production of A Child's Christmas in Wales, based on the classic story by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas and adapted for the stage by Jeremy Brooks and Adrian Mitchell. The festive show is being revived for the first time since it last appeared on the STNJ stage in 2003, featuring Greg Jackson in the role of Dylan Thomas. Performances begin November 30 and run through January 1 at the F.M. 25 years after the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical production of Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic children's story The Secret Garden, the Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) and the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle co-presents the timeless tale from November 15-December 31 at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW). Quintessence Theatre Group continues it's tradition of holiday classics for the whole family with Oscar Wilde's Wilde Tales.
