Under The Streetlamp bring the early rock & roll, doo wop and Motown classics to South Bend! Formed in Chicago in 2010, Under the Streetlamp quickly earned a devoted local following and came to the attention of Charlie Blum who runs the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville, Indiana.

Under the Streetlamp, which sprung up among four lead singers who toured nationally with the Tony-winning JERSEY BOYS, is all about a single, simple shared experience of popular music on the radio. You can experience that pure form of entertainment yourself when the quartet comes to Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts on the UConn campus Saturday, October 27th at 8 pm.

Fans of PBS are in for a special treat when Under the Streetlamp performs an electrifying evening of classics from the American radio songbook at the Merriam Theater on October 24, 2012 at 8 p.m.The new quartet consists of the dreamy voices of four young lead singers, as they embark on national 32-city tour beginning in Sioux City, IA on October 16 and continuing through December 31 in Aurora, IL.

The four young men who make up Under the Streetlamp will bring their acclaimed new show to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center's James K. Polk Theater on Thursday, June 14 at 7:30 p.m.

HAIRSPRAY opened in 2002 on Broadway and had 2,642 performances at the Neil Simon Theatre. With music by Marc Shaiman, Lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Williams and book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan, HAIRSPRAY and its feel-good, upbeat score includes the songs 'Good Morning Baltimore,' 'Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now' and 'You Can't Stop the Beat.'

Under the Streetlamp, one of America's newest vocal groups starring the recent stars of the Chicago and Los Angeles productions of 'Jersey Boys,' will return to Elgin Community College (ECC) Arts Center Nov. 12 - 13, 2011. This group has sold out numerous performances at ECC, as well as throughout the Chicago area. A recent taping of their live concert performance is set to be nationally broadcast on PBS stations across the nation. All three performances at ECC Arts Center will also feature the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra.
