Theater fans and collectors can have their very own bit of Broadway when set pieces and props from the Tony Award-winning musical AVENUE Q will be made available for an online auction on the Broadway Design Exchange website from May 6 to 16. The auction coincides with the May 26 closing of AVENUE Q, which has played 16 years on Broadway and Off-Broadway, as well as in theaters around the world.

On Wednesday, April 3rd Secretary Hillary Clinton attended the evening performance of The Cher Show. Lin-Manuel Miranda attended the show the following evening on Thursday, April 4th. Both went backstage after the show to meet the cast including stars Stephanie J. Block, Teal Wicks, Micaela Diamond and Jarrod Spector.
The original cast album to the Broadway hit The Cher Show will be released digitally on Friday, April 12th on Warner Bros. In celebration of International Women's Day, Disney on Broadway hosted the 2nd annual 'Women's Day on Broadway.' Following its launch in 2018, the event continues to aim to engage attendees of all genders and backgrounds in a day of open and honest dialogue about gender equality in the theatre industry and beyond.
Rehearsals began this week for the fourth West End cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child who will start performances at the Palace Theatre in London on 22 May 2019 following the final performance from the current cast on 19 May 2019.
