Paying homage to one of America's most celebrated playwrights during his birthday month, Island City Stage will present its debut of Tennessee William's gothic mystery Suddenly, Last Summer, March 17 – April 17, 2022. Suddenly, Last Summer is part of the award-winning theater company's 10th Anniversary 2021-22 South Florida Season.

An old-fashioned, splashy musical about a working-class Londoner who discovers he's nobility and a world premiere play about the consequences of bullying received the most nominations in the musical and play categories when the nominations were announced for the 41st annual Carbonell Awards, which honors excellence in theater in South Florida.

Not a happy piece, but MUD is mesmerizing. As is usual with Thinking Cap's productions.

Due to popular demand the world premiere of 'Who Killed Joan Crawford' has been extended through February 21. 'Some performances were sold out even before the production opened' said Artistic Director, Andy Rogow. 'The word of mouth has been terrific and we continue to work on the play to make it even more fun and entertaining'.

Tonight, January 14th, WHO KILLED JOAN CRAWFORD? will begin a month-long world premiere run at Island City Stage in Wilton Manors, featuring a cast that includes Barry Marcus, Kevin Reilley, Andy Rogow, Troy Stanley and Christian Vandepas, under the direction of Leeds. Daniel's Husband at Island City Stage, a world premiere about the importance of marriage equality, garnered six nominations, the most of any play.

Continuing their sixth season, the award-winning Slow Burn Theatre Company will present the South Florida premiere of the musical Bonnie & Clyde. The production will run from January 22nd through February 8th at the West Boca Performing Arts Theater on the campus of West Boca Raton Community High School on Glades Road, in Boca Raton, and from February 12th through February 15th at the Aventura Arts & Culture Center in Aventura.
