Manoel Felciano, Christian Coulson & More to Lead Red Bull Theater's THE CHANGELING

Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director) today announced the cast for Thomas Middleton and William Rowley's The Changeling, directed by Mr. Berger. Manoel Felciano (Tony Award nominee for his performance in the revival of Sweeney Todd), Christian Coulson (who created the role of Tom Marvolo Riddle in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets), and  Sara Topham (The Importance of Being Earnest), will star, along with Bill Army, Michelle Beck (As You Like It, Bridge Project), Justin Blanchard (Witch of Edmonton), Philippe Bowgen, Kimiye Corwin, Paul Niebanck (Barbeque, Public Theatre, Revenger's Tragedy, A Walk in the Woods), John Skelley (Hamlet, Acting Company), Sam Tsoutsouvas  (Witch of Edmonton), and Andrew Weems (Sir Peter Hall's Troilus & Cresisda).

Mint Theater to Host Special EnrichMINT Event for THE NEW MORALITY

In honor of the centenary of Harold Chapin's heroic death on the battlefield in 1915 and their revival of Chapin's The New Morality, Mint Theater Company will present a free, one-night event titled Soldier and Dramatist: A Centennial Commemoration on Monday, September 28th at 7pm. Selections from Chapin's beautifully touching letters home will be performed by Christian Coulson, Joe Delafield, Ben Diskant, Andrew Fallaize, and Ned Noyes. Mint's Associate Director Jesse Marchese will curate and direct the evening which will feature an introduction by George Robb, Professor of History at William Patterson University.

Sheila Callaghan's EVERYTHING YOU TOUCH Begins Tonight at Rattlestick

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, True Love Productions and The Theatre @ Boston Court have announced that the New York Premiere of Everything You Touch, written by Sheila Callaghan and directed by Jessica Kubzansky, will begin previews tonight, January 28 at 8pm at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street. The official opening night is set for Thursday, February 12 at 7pm. Everything You Touch is scheduled to run through Sunday, March 29, 2015.

BWW Reviews: All-Star Roster Brings the Bard to Fenway Park

It was a winning night at Fenway Park for the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and the hometown fans as they celebrated with an all-star roster for SHAKESPEARE AT FENWAY. The one-night event had comedy, tragedy, and some extra excitement (not unlike the Red Sox) for a great start to CSC's 20th anniversary season.

PETER PAN IS DEAD Featured in Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Now thru 9/21

Peter Pan is Dead, a new play by Brandon Monokian, will be performed and simultaneously released as a graphic novel today, September 6th with art by Sara Sciabbarrasi. The stage production will be presented at the William Way LGBT Community Center, today, September 6th - 21st, as a part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.

The Tank Welcomes {Your Name Here} Queer Theater Company's SUMMER SHORTS This Weekend

The Tank, a non-profit arts presenter located in the heart of midtown, will present {Your Name Here} Queer Theater Company's Summer Shorts as part of The Tank's LGBTQ Pride Festival. Your Name Here (David Macke, Artistic Director) offers a fun evening of four short plays by queer playwrights that range from a chance encounter in a hotel room to finding love within the arms of a puma to finding something remarkably in common with one's own bully. The shows will be performed today, July 12 and Sunday, July 13 at 5 pm at The Tank.

Emerge Film Festival Comes to Life with Announcement of Final Film Schedule, Award Nominations and Sneak Peek Event

Things are heating up for the inaugural Emerge Film Festival, opening on June 13! The Festival board of directors has released the final film schedule, including more than 40 short, documentary and feature films from Maine, the U.S. and the world. Details for the two-day Lewiston/Auburn, Maine event are outlined on the newly developed website: emergefilmfestival.org.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will continue its engagement at JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater on Sunday, March 16 at 9:30 PM with a celebration of the celebrated TV program 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer.' After a highly-successful season at 54 Below, the show has returned to its downtown roots this year with shows through May. The Meeting* has been called 'delicious and delightfully droll' by The New York Post, and 'hilarious and sardonic' by The Village Voice. A recent story for Slate.com called the evening 'so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight.' The March show will feature special guests Kim Smith, Christian Coulson, Diana Kazakova, Chris Tyler and Mark Dommu with others to be announced. Tracy Stark serves as Music Director.

Jackie Hoffman & Molly Pope Set for THE MEETING* Holiday Spectacular at 54 Below Tonight

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the acclaimed comedy/variety show hailed as 'rambunctious, uproarious and unpredictable' by The Wall Street Journal, 'delicious and delightfully droll' by The New York Post, and 'hilarious and sardonic' by The Village Voice - has moved to 54 BELOW for a six month run after four sell-out seasons in New York's West Village. The next show will be today, December 18 at 9:30 PM. Justin Sayre and The Meeting*, known for a signature blend of outrageous comedy, politics, culture and everything in between, were named one of the Top 10 nightclub shows of 2011 by Time Out New York, received the 2012 Bistro Award for 'Comedy Artistry' and a 2011 MAC Award nomination for Best Male Comedy Performance.
