{Your Name Here} A Queer Theater is proud to present the third edition of their popular event, BLIPS!. BLIPS! is an evening of 10- minute plays designed to cultivate a base of up and coming Queer playwrights and celebrate the diversity of the community.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the acclaimed comedy/variety show hailed as 'rambunctious, uproarious and unpredictable' by The Wall Street Journal, 'delicious and delightfully droll' by The New York Post, and 'hilarious and sardonic' by The Village Voice - has moved to 54 BELOW for a six month run after four sell-out seasons in New York's West Village. Two-time Tony nominee (and star of the movie CAMP) Robin De Jesus will be playing Ben Rimalower in PATTI ISSUES for seven show only, Sundays at 9:30 at the Duplex September 8 - October 27, 2013. In the meantime, Rimalower will still be playing himself out of town the following dates.

Billy Porter, 2013 Tony Award Winner for Best Actor in a Musical (Kinky Boots) surprised students of Broadway Artists Alliance Summer Intensive Session One with his appearance on July 25th. Porter entertained the students with tales of his experiences. In addition, he participated in a Q&A, answering student's questions and providing advice for young performers. Tony Award winner Gabriel Ebert visited students at Broadway Artists Alliance Alumni Session to share his journey from young actor to Tony Award Winner. Earlier this year, Ebert won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Mr. Wormwood in Matilda the Musical. Scroll down for photos from the event!
