Today’s subjects Chris Nee, Michael Kooman, and Christopher Dimond are the creators of a fantastic World Premiere Commission Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) musical at Kennedy Center called Finn. The show runs through December 22nd in the Family Theater. The trio collaborated on the book, music, and lyrics with Michael Kooman providing the dance arrangements and the underscoring.

Netflix and UN Women today launched “Because She Watched” - a special Netflix collection of series, documentaries, and films to celebrate International Women's Day. The collection, which will be available all year, is curated by female creators from behind and in front of the camera - including Sophia Loren, Janet Mock, Salma Hayek, Yalitza Aparicio, Millie Bobby Brown, Laurie Nunn, Lana Condor, Petra Costa and Ava DuVernay.
Netflix Enters into Overall Deal with DOC MCSTUFFINS Creator Chris Nee

Netflix today announced that it has entered into a multi-year overall deal with Chris Nee, the Peabody, Emmy, and Humanitas Prize-winning children's television screenwriter and producer. Under the deal, Nee will write and produce new animated and live action series for preschool and all audiences exclusively for Netflix. Additionally, Netflix will have a first-look option on feature film projects from Nee and her production company, Laughing Wild.
