The African & African American Performing Arts Coalition and K*Star*Productions are pleased to announce the program for the Black Choreographers Festival: Here and Now 2018 (BCF), which takes place over three consecutive weekends, February 17 - March 4, in San Francisco and Oakland. Following the opening weekend at Dance Mission Theater in San Francisco, the festival moves to SAFEhouse Arts at 145 Eddy Street for weekend two, with a final program at Laney College Theater in Oakland, March 3 - 4. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m.

National Geographic today announced that Chris Evans ('Captain America,' 'The Avengers') will lend his voice to the groundbreaking new eight-part documentary series CHAIN OF COMMAND.

Seven time Emmy Award-winner Ed Asner and three time Emmy Award and Tony Award-nominee Kate Burton will star in a two-week East Coast tour of concert readings of Jeff Cohen's play The Soap Myth. The readings, which will be directed by Pam Berlin and will also feature Ned Eisenberg & Blair Baker, will serve as a tribute to International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The tour will begin on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Miami Beach Florida, and will conclude on Thursday, February 1 at Hofstra University on Long Island.

Second Stage Theater has announced that Bel Powley will join the previously announced Michael Cera, Chris Evans, and Brian Tyree Henry, to complete the cast of Kenneth Lonergan's Lobby Hero, directed by Trip Cullman.

The John Gore Organization announced today that two-time Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner and Maximiliano Hern ndez will join their Avengers: Infinity War co-stars in the special benefit reading of Thornton Wilder's classic play Our Town at Atlanta's iconic Fox Theatre on Monday, November 6.

Due to overwhelmingly strong ticket sales, the critically acclaimed production of Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song has added one final week of performances, announced Second Stage Theater (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Casey Reitz, Executive Director). The production will now play through Saturday, December 9 and will not be able to extend further.
