50 Shades! The Musical - The Original Parody (www.50ShadesTheMusical.com) at The Elektra Theatre (300 W. 43rd Street) has announced that tickets are now on sale through January 4, 2015 due to audience demand and rave reviews. In addition, beginning September 2nd, a new fall schedule will begin. Directed by Al Samuels and Rob Lindley, 50 Shades! The Musical - The Original Parody is produced by Emily Dorezas, Al Samuels, Andrew Asnes, Rob Kolson, Brett McDonald and 50 Shades Tour LLC.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series celebrated a musical trifecta on Monday night, with sublime jazz vocalist Jane Monheit, extraordinary arrangements by Mary Ann McSweeney, and a wealth of Irving Berlin material. The stellar backup band for the evening evening included McSweeney on bass, Jim Ridl on piano, and Alvester Garnett on drums. Several months ago, the Monheit-McSweeney duo teamed up with a swinging take on Cole Porter's iconic score for Anything Goes, to great acclaim.

Hello again Broadway World readers! Things are trucking along nicely with 50 Shades! We are all finally coming down from the high of opening and going about the business of doing 8 shows a week with a bit less fanfare. Still we are having a blast and enjoying strutting our stuff for our amazingly fun audiences! We are also continuing to enjoy hanging out with each other and just having a ball!
