RITUAL Immersive Performance Will Premiere in New York This Month

In their first outing since the onset of COVID-19, immersive theater company Witness is returning to New York with a new installation based on Aeschylus's The Oresteia. A storefront space in the East Village will be transformed into a safehouse outside Argos, occupied continuously by a single actor portraying Orestes.

San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon has announced the complete cast and creative team for the Company's 2021-2022 season opener, the Tony Award-winning “Best Musical” A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC features a book by Hugh Wheeler, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and is suggested by Ingmar Bergman's film Smiles of a Summer Night.

Wilkes Community College announced that Wes Whitson has been named as the new MerleFest festival director. Ted Hagaman, who has served as festival director for the last 15 years, has announced his plans to retire in the fall of 2022.
