After skipping a year, the seventh (almost) annual Cloris Awards will honor eight local theater companies that produced 33 shows during the 2021-2022 season.

Guildford Fringe Theatre Company and Guildford Fringe Festival have appointed Charlotte Wyschna as their new Managing Director, as of 15 August 2022. Charlotte takes over from Nick Wyschna, the founder of Guildford Fringe, who will now focus on the couple's latest venture, The Fallen Angel cabaret bar in Guildford, alongside other projects. 

The cast for the 70th Anniversary Australian production of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap was revealed by producer John Frost for Crossroads Live Australia. Additional seasons for this acclaimed production have also been announced to follow the Premiere at Theatre Royal Sydney - in Brisbane at the Playhouse, QPAC from 3 November and at the Comedy Theatre, Melbourne from 17 February 2023.

The University of Adelaide Theatre Guild has finally reached Arcadia.

These questions and more are the thoughts that fill my mind upon exiting the theatre following the opening night of Studio Grand Central’s Second Season opener Something Clean by Selina Fillinger. Fillinger whose more recent work Potus is a smashing success on Broadway; penned this three-hander piece about a grieving mother who also is struggling with love and culpability. Her own struggle with intimacy is backlogged by trauma and has come to a crippling head not just on her inner self but on her marriage as well.

What starts off as a quintessential relationship track quickly pivots to an angsty guitar riff with lyrics that detail the vicious cycle of writer's block and mundaneness. 'Not Another Song' is the final single off his upcoming debut album Told Ya. Additionally, John Harvie is gearing up for a September Arena tour with Shinedown.

Fully written by NIKI, Nicole features production from Jacob Ray (Alison Wonderland, Evan Giia) Tim Anderson (Halsey, BANKS), Ethan Gruska (Phoebe Bridgers, Remi Wolf), and Jacob Reske (Vince Staples, Trippie Redd), with additional production from NIKI. The album contains archived songs from NIKI’s past. Plus, check out tour dates!

The standout track harkens back to the band’s power-chord alt-rock sound, assisted by the analog-to-tape recording process and vintage amps & pedals they used while making the entire album.
