The Theatre School at DePaul University will present A WRINKLE IN TIME, by Madeleine L'Engle, adapted by John Glore, and directed by Ernie Nolan, as the first installment of the 2012-2013 Chicago Playworks for Families and Young Audiences Series. This production opens Tuesday, October 23, and runs through Saturday, December 1, 2012, at DePaul's historic Merle Reskin Theatre. Performances are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 10 AM and Saturdays at 2 PM. There will be no performances on November 20, 22, 23, or 24. An additional performance will be held on November 28 at 10AM.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company will present Harper Lee's classic American novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" adapted by Christopher Sergel. This production is directed by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company Artistic Associate Sara Clark and features Bruce Cromer, Darnell Pierre Benjamin and three young actors- Alyssa Mehnert, Jack Johnson & Noah Lentini. This production is generously sponsored by LPK. The ensemble is sponsored by Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP and the production design is sponsored by Matson Money.

The Theatre School at DePaul University (John Culbert, Dean) has announced the 2012-2013 season. Founded as the Goodman School of Drama in 1925, The Theatre School presents public programming as a professional extension of the classroom. Under the leadership of an award-winning faculty and staff, theatre artists from all disciplines collaborate during their final years of training to offer new work, plays for families, as well as contemporary plays and classics.

The MainStreet Theatre Company ends its 6th season with an adaptation of Madeleine L'Engles' Newberry Award winning classic A Wrinkle in Time. The book is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and The MainStreet Theatre Company was awarded a grant from the National Endowment of the Arts to help support the production. Performances run from tonight, May 5th through May 20th at Rancho Cucamonga's Lewis Family Playhouse in the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center. The adaptation is by John Glore, and it will be directed by Robert Castro.
