Meadow Brook Theatre announced its annual production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, bringing the classic holiday tale to life with performances starting in November.

Odyssey Opera, in partnership with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), presents the New England premiere of Dominick Argento’s opera The Voyage of Edgar Allan Poe, on Friday, April 5, 2024, in Poe’s birthplace of Boston.

Walking Path Entertainment, LLC will present two private industry readings (by invitation only) of A Brief Crack of Light, a play written by William Semans and Roy M. Close.

Meadow Brook Theatre celebrates the return of A Christmas Carol Running Nov. 19 through Dec. 23, 2021, on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. 

After the previous season was cut short, the company is glad to pick back up and reopen its doors with a world premiere of a new musical!

The season opens with Clue based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn, written by Sandy Rustin, with additional material by Hunter Foster and Eric Price. Based on the Paramount Pictures Motion Picture and the Hasbro board game, this show will be running October 7 - November 1, 2020. Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up. Featuring original music by Michael Holland, Clue is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.

One of southeast Michigan's favorite holiday traditions returns for the 38th year when Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and a handful of ghosts raise your spirits in A Christmas Carol at Meadow Brook Theatre this November and December.

Meadow Brook Theatre's 2019-2020 season has something for everyone with comedies, musicals, a drama and even a whodunit. "We're excited not only to have Michigan premieres during our 54th season, but also to have the world premiere of a brand new musical," said Cheryl Marshall, MBT managing director.  "We've got a wonderfully entertaining lineup and, once again, we're kicking things off with a great event this summer!'

Meadow Brook Theatre's 2016-2017 season kicks-off with a benefit concert then takes to the stage with Michigan Premieres including a Ken Ludwig comedy, a comedy with a heart, a poignant drama AND a 1960s musical!
