Chicago-based dance theater company Lucky Plush Productions, led by founder and Artistic Director Julia Rhoads, returns to Steppenwolf's 1700 Theatre this fall as part of Steppenwolf's LookOut Series with the world premiere of Rink Life.

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center presents its annual PRELUDE FESTIVAL on October 3, 4, and 5 at The Graduate Center, CUNY, The City University of New York, curated by David Bruin & Sanaz Ghajar in collaboration with Frank Hentschker, produced by Sami Pyne.

Peak Performances begins its 2019-2020 season with the joining of two revolutionaries of avant-garde performance, influential theater and opera director Anne Bogart and the pioneering choreographer Elizabeth Streb, in their first-ever collaboration, FALLING & LOVING (September 24-29).

Future IDs at Alcatraz, a yearlong project, exhibition, and series of monthly public programs on view in the New Industries Building on Alcatraz Island until October 2019, brings attention to criminal justice reform efforts and second chances. The exhibition encourages the viewer to reevaluate ideas about rehabilitation, reentry, and reintegration, which features ID inspired artwork created by individuals who have a conviction history as they conceive and develop a vision for a future self.

Peak Performances announces its 2019-2020 season, considering the vocabularies of the body, genre and form, artistic practices and legacies, cultures, and language itself-how they persevere, disappear, or shift over time with new influences and perspectives. This season, Peak Performances offers its state-of-the-art platform to artists who work with-and sometimes against-these established vocabularies in the creation of exhilarating new performance works and the reinvigoration of preexisting texts, compositions, and choreographies. All performances take place at the Alexander Kasser Theater (1 Normal Ave, Montclair, NJ 07043).

Columbia University School of the Arts presents seven new plays written by the Columbia MFA Playwriting Students of 2019. The esteemed faculty who have nurtured these students, including Tony©, Pulitzer, and Obie Award winners such as Charles Mee, Lynn Nottage, and David Henry Hwang invite you to experience these innovative new playwrights.

BoHo Theatre continues its 2019 season with THE RIVER, a haunting and complex new play by playwright Jez Butterworth, directed by Jerrell L. Henderson. THE RIVER was called "a magnetically eerie, luminously beautiful psychodrama" by TIME OUT LONDON.  Henderson's cast will include Joe Lino as Man, Christina Gorman as Woman, Chelsee Carter as Other Woman. THE RIVER will be staged at the Greenhouse Theater Center and will open to the press on Saturday, June 15, following previews from June 8.

Project Y Theatre Company will present the fourth annual Women in Theatre Festival, a festival of new work written and created by women, June 5-30 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street New York, NY 10019). The Actors' Gang presents VIOLENCE: The Misadventures of Spike Spangle, Farmer, written by The Actors' Gang Artistic Director Tim Robbins and Adam Simon and directed by Bob Turton, who was most recently seen at The Actors' Gang as "The Maniac" in Accidental Death of an Anarchist. This no-holds barred satire of militarism and media manipulation begins performances May 2nd (Press Opening May 11th at 8:00pm) and will run Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, through June 22nd. 

Cherry Lane Theatre proudly announces that its current production of ACTUALLY, WE'RE F**KED, which opened on March 7 and initially set to run through April 7, will now extend its run through April 21, 2019. ACTUALLY, WE'RE F**KED is a new play by Matt Williams and directed by John Pasquin.

Just last night, the Signature Theatre held its Annual Gala at The Pershing Square Signature Center. The event honored Citi CEO Michael Corbat and celebrated the millionth subsidized ticket offered under the groundbreaking Signature Ticket Initiative.

The Actors' Gang presents One Act Festival, featuring two contrasting programs performed in repertory. Show one, entitled The Classic, begins performances March 14th (press opening March 23) and features two classic one-act plays -- Jean-Paul Sartre's No Exit, directed by Brian T. Finney, and Samuel Beckett's Krapps's Last Tape, directed by Cynthia Ettinger. Show two, entitled The Original, begins performances March 16 (Press Opening March 29) and features three new one-act plays written, directed, and acted by The Actors Gang ensemble:  Tradition, written by James Edward Bane and directed by Tess Vidal, A Perfect World, written by Lynde Houck and directed by Danielle Powell, and Clean Slate, written by Bob Turton and directed by Zoe Hall. Both programs will run Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, through April 20th.  

Cherry Lane Theatre will host a post-show panel: The Influence of Influencers, after the performance ACTUALLY, WE'RE F**KED, a new play by Matt Williams on Saturday, March 9 at 9pm. The panel will feature social media influencers Ari Freedy (@arifreedy), Lillian Isabella (@LillianIsabela), Laura Haywood (@broadwaygirlnyc), Jordan Mericle (@jordanmericlemusic), and Matisse Williams (@tisse) and at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St. in Manhattan).

The Nora Theatre Company is proud to present Photograph 51 from March 14 to April 15, 2019 and is directed by Rebecca Bradshaw. The press performance is Monday, March 18 at 7:30PM. Photograph 51 is a Catalyst Collaborative@MIT Production and is part of The Brit d'Arbeloff Women in Science Production Series

The New Colony, under the new artistic leadership of Fin Coe* and Stephanie Shum*, continues its 2018-19 season with the world premiere of SMALL WORLD, a twisted comedy in the happiest place on earth, co-written by Jillian Leff and Joe Lino and directed by Andrew Hobgood*, playing March 27 - May 4, 2019 at TNC's resident home, The Den Theatre's Upstairs Main Stage, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

Boulder-based square product theatre presents the World Premiere of "Everything was Stolen. ," a new work originally developed and workshopped in London, UK by Emily K. Harrison, square product theatre producing artistic director. The piece marks the first original, full-length work developed by the company since 2016's "This Aunt is Not a Cockroach."

ACTUALLY, WE'RE F**KED, a new play by Matt Williams, will be given its world-premiere production at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St. in Manhattan), with previews starting on February 26 prior to an official opening on March 7, it has been announced by Cherry Lane founder Angelina Fiordellisi and artistic director Seri Lawrence. The play is directed by John Pasquin, with whom Mr. Williams has a long-standing collaboration, including the popular television series "Home Improvement."

La MaMa presents the premiere of legendary playwright Jean-Claude van Itallie's The Fat Lady Sings at La MaMa's Downstairs Theater (66 East 4th Street). Directed by Drama Desk Award winner David Schweizer, the production is scheduled to begin previews on March 21, 2019, with an opening night on March 25, 2019 (running run through April 7, 2019). The cast will feature New York City Opera sensation, Lauren Flanigan, and actor, Tony Torn, known for his celebrated experimental theater work. They will be joined by Jake Horowitz, Nancy McArthur and Jose Useche.
