Just last night, The Public Theater celebrated its Annual Gala, HAIR TO HAMILTON, 50 Years of Revolutionary Musicals, at the Delacorte Theater. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, with musical direction by Rob Fisher and Nadia DiGiallonardo, the 90-minute concert featured songs from The Public's most beloved and groundbreaking musicals performed by some of the most celebrated voices in theater. Just last night, The Public Theater celebrated its Annual Gala, HAIR TO HAMILTON, 50 Years of Revolutionary Musicals, at the Delacorte Theater. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, with musical direction by Rob Fisher and Nadia DiGiallonardo, the 90-minute concert featured songs from The Public's most beloved and groundbreaking musicals performed by some of the most celebrated voices in theater. 

Amy Wolk and Nikki M. James present 'I Only Have Lies For You', a new live gameshow that pits Broadway panelists against each other in a lying contest. Two teams of three will go head-to-head telling stories, some of which may not be true---it is up to the other team to guess, Truth or Lie. Featuring musical direction by Nate Buccieri, panelists will defend their stories by all means possible, including song and dance. Hosted by MAC Award winner Amy Wolk, 'I Only Have Lies For You' will be presented monthly at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City, and will be recorded as a podcast.

Just last night, A Bronx Tale opened at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48thStreet). The new musical, featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo, began performances on Thursday, November 3. After six dedicated weeks of fundraising, the brightest stars from Broadway and Off-Broadway's biggest hits will share one-of-a-kind performances at the 28th annual Gypsy of the Year competition on Monday, December 5 (4:30 pm) and Tuesday, December 8 (2 pm). The show is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
