Playhouse on the Square Revives ON GOLDEN POND

Corkscrew Theater Festival's third annual summer season continues with the world premiere of Haleh Roshan's A Play Titled After the Collective Noun for Female-Identifying 20-Somethings Living in NYC in the 2010s. Cast Announced For WET's FEATHERS AND TEETH By Charise Castro Smith

Washington Ensemble Theatre has announced the cast for the Seattle premiere of Feathers and Teeth, the twisted horror comedy by Charise Castro Smith that grapples with the power of grief and the dangers of the other side. WET members Rachel Guyer-Mafune (WET: Teh Internet Is Serious Business, ACT: The Wolves, Book-It: Howl's Moving Castle) and Samie Spring Detzer (WET: Teh Internet Is Serious Business, Revolt. She said. Revolt again.) return to the WET stage to star as the creepy cool daughter/stepmother duo, Chris and Carol. Brandon J. Simmons (WET: Sextet, The Seagull Project: The Cherry Orchard, The Three Sisters) joins the cast as Arthur and James Schilling (ArtsWest: Peter and the Starcatcher, The Horse in Motion: The Great Noise) makes his WET debut as Hugo. WET's Associate Artistic Director Bobbin Ramsey directs. This is the second play by Castro Smith to be produced by WET; the world premiere of The Hunchback of Seville was the company's final play produced at The Little Theater on 19th Avenue East before moving to its current home, 12th Avenue Arts

Mark Jacoby To Lead The World Premiere Of VILNA By Ira Fuchs

Vilna, a new play by Ira Fuchs directed by Joseph Discher, will begin its limited Off-Broadway World Premiere engagement at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between Ninth & Tenth Avenues) on Monday March 11th. Opening Night is set for Wednesday March 20th (7pm). This limited Off-Broadway engagement continues through Sunday April 14th only.

Theatres Trust Announce Their Theatres at Risk Register 2019

Now in its 12th year, the Theatres at Risk Register highlights and supports theatres under threat of closure, redevelopment or demolition across the UK, calling the public's attention to these buildings, their challenges, opportunities and those who fight for them. This year, 31 theatres appear on this vitally important register with three new additions - Theatr Ardudwy, Tottenham Place Theatre and The Intimate Theatre in Palmers Green.

Drury Lane Theatre Announces Casting For MAMMA MIA!

Drury Lane Theatre announces casting for its production of the international megahit Mamma Mia!, with music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Bj rn Ulvaeus, some songs with Stig Anderson, and book by Catherine Johnson. Originally conceived by Judy Craymer, Mamma Mia! is directed by Artistic Director William Osetek and choreographed by Jane Lanier with music direction by Roberta Duchak. Mamma Mia! runs February 7 April 14, 2019, at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. The press opening is scheduled for Thursday, February 21 at 8:00 p.m.

59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to welcome the NYC premiere of TRICK OR TREAT, written by Jack Neary and directed by Carol Dunne. Produced by Northern Stage, TRICK OR TREAT begins performances on Saturday, January 12 for a limited engagement through Sunday, February 24. Press Opening is Sunday, January 20 at 7 PM.
