Cast members from the Broadway musical Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 celebrated their Broadway run with an encore performance at Broadway at W New York on Sunday, August 27th at 7:30 pm. Great Comet creator Dave Malloy joined the cast in celebrating their Tony Award nominated production. BroadwayWorld was there and brings you photos from the evening below!

Cast members from the Broadway musical Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 will celebrate their Broadway run with an encore performance at Broadway at W New York on Sunday, August 27th at 7:30 pm. Great Comet creator Dave Malloy will join the cast in celebrating their Tony Award nominated production.

The Songwriter's Orchestra, an innovative 12-piece chamber orchestra that accompanies singer-songwriters in new arrangements of their music, will be performing at (le) poisson rouge with seven cast members from The Great Comet on Monday August 21st at 7:30pm.

Actors' Equity Association just presented Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 with the ninth annual "ACCA" Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA), the ACCA Award is the only industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.

Written and Directed by Josh Canfield, and starring multiple cast members of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, this new musical follows a cold and bloodless eater as he comes to the realization that he is, in fact, a zombie.

Three "Great Comet" Broadway cast members - Cathryn Wake, Mary Page Nance, and Lauren Zakrin - created a music video for the original song "Pussy Power", featuring women and all-gendered allies celebrating female empowerment while reclaiming the word "pussy". Check out the video below!

The season's most Tony-nominated show, Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 is gearing up for Tony's night. In order to re-create the immersive vibe of this slice of Tolstoy for Radio City Music Hall, the production is currently seeking performers to fill out their ensemble for Tony's night.

Dave Malloy, creator of the twelve-time Tony nominated new musical NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, made his Broadway performing debut in the show last night, stepping into the role of 'Pierre' for 10 performances across May and June 2017. Last night the company toasted the newly minted three time Tony nominee, as he made his Broadway performing debut. BroadwayWorld is taking you inside the special occasion below!

Broadway at W Times Square continues to wow audiences and hotel guests with their newly hit concert series featuring Broadway cast members and their respective shows accompanied by acoustic guitar and cajon. On Sunday, Feb. 19th cast members from blockbuster shows Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812 and the 1st national tour of Hamilton shared their amazing talents in the raw, up close and intimate setting of W Times Square Hotel.  Special guest host was Hamilton's, and newly announced Josh Groban successor, Okieriete Onaodowan. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the new Broadway musical NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 invited fans to be a part of the upcoming original Broadway cast recording. Just yesterday, fans joined creator Dave Malloy and members of the cast to sing group chorus sections and to play the show's famous egg shakers for the original Broadway cast recording. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the special recording session and you can go inside the singalong below!

This Sunday, February 19th at 7pm, cast members from Broadway's stellar hit show Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 will head to W New York - Times Square for the eleventh installment of Broadway at W.

On Thursday, February 9th, Broadway's Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 celebrated 100 performances at Broadway's Imperial Theatre. The whole cast was on hand to celebrate the occasion and BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture it all. See photos from the backstage celebration below.
