59E59 Announces Cast and Creative of THE HELLO GIRLS

Casting is complete and the design team is in place for the world premiere musical THE HELLO GIRLS produced by Prospect Theater Company at 59E59 Theaters.

The cast features Ellie Fishman (First National Tour: Finding Neverland), Arlo Hill (The Most Happy Fellaat Encores!), Chanel Karimkhani (The Goree All Girl String Band at NYMF), Andrew Mayer (Broadway:Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812), Matthew McGloin (CasablancaBox at HERE Arts), Ben Moss (First National Tour: Spring Awakening), Lili Thomas (Disney Millennium Symphonies with the New York Philharmonic at Avery Fisher Hall), Skyler Volpe (West Side Story at Barrington Stage), Cathryn Wake (Broadway: Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812), and Scott Wakefield (Broadway: Hands on a Hardbody). Elena Bonomo (Broadway: Waitress) is percussionist.

The design team includes Lianne Arnold (scenic and projection design); Isabella Byrd (lighting design);Whitney Locher (costume design); and Kevin Heard (sound design). Madeline Smith is the music consultant. The Production Stage Manager is Emily Ballou.

From New York to Paris, from ragtime to jazz, an ensemble of triple-threat actor-musicians chronicles the story of America's first women soldiers. These intrepid heroines served as bilingual telephone operators on the front lines, helping turn the tide of World War I. They then returned home to fight a decades-long battle for equality and recognition, paving the way for future generations. Celebrate the centennial of these groundbreaking women with an original musical created by Prospect Theater Company's critically-acclaimed founding artists.

THE HELLO GIRLS is the second production of Prospect Theater Company's three-year residency at 59E59 Theaters.

THE HELLO GIRLS, book by Peter Mills and Cara Reichel, music and lyrics by Peter Mills, directed by Cara Reichel, with choreography by Christine O'Grady and music direction by Ben Moss. Produced by Prospect Theater Company, THE HELLO GIRLS begins previews on Tuesday, November 13 for a limited engagement through Saturday, December 22. Press Opening is Sunday, December 2 at 6 PM.
