ROCHESTER’S DEEP ARTS receives $15K grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, following a $10K grant in 2023.

DEEP Arts has released this week's LIKAH video of 'Running,' a song from the new family musical  LIKAH, A Puppy Musical written by Deborah Haber and Casey Filiaci.

LIKAH! is a charming new family musical written by Deborah Haber and Casey Filiaci, directed by Deborah Haber with musical direction by Don Kot and puppet direction by James Silson.

The creative team behind Likah! A Puppy Musical has created a music video and a home activity packet for parents to share with their kids while cooped up at home. 

DEEP Arts will present a special invite-only, industry presentation of the new musical LIKAH! Friday, October 25 at 4:00 pm and *Saturday, October 26 at 10:30 am The Theatre Center (1627 Broadway, NYC at West 50 Street).

The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Grep Cooper Productions, LLC LLC have announced that Virginia Woodruff (Violet, Leap of Faith, The Color Purple, All Shook Up, Smokey Joe's Cafe), Cheryl A. Freeman (The Who's Tommy , Disney's Hercules), Tyler Hardwick , Anthony Chatmon II , Miche Braden and Darilyn Castillo have joined the cast of ACAPPELLA. Rounding out the company are Katrina R. Dideriksen, Gavyn Pickens, Emily Goglia, Rachel Gavaletz, Janelle McDermoth, Darryl Williams, Alex Koceja and Garrett Turner.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) announced today its additional selections for NYMF 2015. Acappella, Claudio Quest, HeadVoice, Held Momentarily, Moses Man, Napoleon, Real Men, a musical for guys and the women who put up with them; Songs for the Fallen, Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera and Wearing Black join the previously announced new musicals that will be presented at the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival from July 7, 2015 to July 27, 2015.

Rochester will have a front row seat at the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) this July, thanks to a new musical written by Rochesterians Deborah Haber and Casey Filiaci: Moses Man: A Musical Journey of Survival.

The 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) today announced the 2015 Next Link Project musical selections. The 10 musicals, and three initial invited productions, were announced as part of the 12th edition of the Festival, which will take place in July at locations around midtown Manhattan in New York City.

Over the past year, Rochester Children's Theatre (RCT) - a non-profit theatre company for young audiences founded in 1991 by Deborah Haber and the late Stuart Burke - has transitioned into a national performing and arts education organization: D.E.E.P. Arts, which stands for Develop, Explore, Enrich, and Perform.
