Legendary Broadway producer, manager and agent Samuel 'Biff' Liff passed away yesterday, August 10, at his home in Westchester County, NY. He was 96. Liff's longtime friend Emanuel Azenberg, confirmed the news to Deadline this afternoon.

 Tina Benko (Broadway's Irena's Vow, Top Girls, The Real Thing) joins Pun Bandhu (Wit, The Judge), Jesse J. Perez (Recent Tragic Events, American Splendor), DeLanna Studi (August: Osage County, Edge of America), and Myra Lucretia Taylor (Nine, 'Girls') in Primary Stages and Ensemble Studio Theatre/Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Project's upcoming production, Informed Consent. The New York City premiere by Deborah Zoe Laufer (End Days, Leveling Up) and directed by Obie winner Liesl Tommy(Appropriate, The Good Negro) will play a limited engagement August 4 - September 13, 2015 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a New 42nd Street project. Opening night is Tuesday, August 18 at 7PM.

Primary Stages presents, 'A Celebration of Elizabeth Wilson,' a memorial tribute to the Tony Award winning actress and Theatre Hall of Fame honoree, on Monday, June 29 at 2PM at NYU Skriball Center for the Performing Arts located at 566 LaGuardia Place.  Cherry Jones, John Glover, Reed Birney, A.R. Gurney, Joyce Van Patten, Fritz Weaver, Casey Childs, Elizabeth Morton and other friends and colleagues will offer tributes.

Jamie deRoy came to Jim Caruso's Broadway at Birdland last night and Broadwayworld was there. In the world of show business everyone is always everyones friend. After 25 years of having enormously talented friends perform on her stages and loyal friends fill the seats at her shows, the consistency of participation points to the fact that most are real friends. On March 10, Jeff Biehl (Poor Behavior, Machinal) joins the company of the new Primary Stages production, Lives of the Saints, currently playingat Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET project through March 27, 2015. Joining current cast members Arnie Burton (Peter and the Starcatcher, The 39 Steps), Carson Elrod (All in the Timing, The Explorers Club), Kelly Hutchinson (Desire Under the Elms, Don Peyote) and Liv Rooth (All in the Timing, Venus in Fur), Biehl will assume the roles played by Rick Holmes who departs the production to begin rehearsals for The Visit on Broadway.

Lives of the Saints, a world premiere collection of delightfully funny and unforgettable short plays by David Ives (All in the Timing, Venus in Fur) and directed by Tony Award winner John Rando (All in the Timing, On The Town, Urinetown), is currently playing at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET project.
